Are those rssi readings with the dr8-ii plus receiver? Please tell me more. Also what video system are you using with what type of antenna's?

Yes, its RSSI readings using D8R-II receiver and full visibility to the transmitter. D8R can also send telemetry data back for battery voltages, which is really cool for such a distance. For video system I am using first generation of Fatshark 250mW Video transmitter and homemade diversity controller using two 5,8Ghz receiver modules from Banggood and homemade 4turn and 8turn helical antennas. Works really well as you saw.

38 rssi is the signal loss limit so infact you can go a bşt further. Nice job.
