Great video, professional dealt with, however here in the UK once the fire is extinguished, Ff now wear there facemask fitted with a paper filter to filter out the small particles of soot and burnt embers. The filter screws onto the facemask and when you have finished with it, you throw it away. We worry about the poisonous gasses, hence BA sets whilst fighting the fire but we do not worry about the small particles of soot in the air after we have knocked down the fire that get into our lungs. It's something all Ff should think about, here in the UK, its standard now to wear a face mask fitted with a filter.

@@pamhofmeister2531 I was in a highrise fire with Chicago a battalion chief with 40 years and two engine company it's was called in as small fire ..the person shut the door to condo they kicked the door open with no charge line and no scba they almost killed 9 firefighter because they weren't ready every since that day I don't blow firefighter who die from cancer

@@pamhofmeister2531 I think firefighter not wearing scba are afraid to go in they look the part but if every firefighter did what they are trained to do u don't need rescue and squad company...I was firefighter 3 with smoke diver class and I would be embarrassed if other firefighter put out my fire

We had to use fog nozzles, I think fog nozzles abuse the guys inside by pushing heat and smoke that can harm FD personnel or trapped victims but only guys that fight a lot of fire see some of these things.@@spo307

Solid streams. Straight streams are from a combi nozzle. This is a solid stream from a smooth boar
