Serious honest question here … What was the purpose of the chauffeur or whatever position the firefighter was on the aerial? When the video starts the attic window is already vented , he just stands there until the fire vents itself. Then goes down aerial, eventually moves it . Then puts it back and goes and stands almost at the top …venting smoke and water from engine enveloping him . Simply asking why ?

Funny how the guy on the aerial took his time to remove it from the window venting… good way to damage your ladder!

I dont know what is wrong or they are told take your time. Its sick most of these building fires they are so so with placing water on them. I was a Volunteer Firefighter/Police Officer for 25yrs and I am trying not to get nervous watching, I am on East Coast and boy are they slow.
