Great Video I never did the 25hr check until now. If I could go I probably would have waited to install winch and front bumper. Very tedious and time consuming but well worth the $250.00 charge at the dealers to change all fluids. Knowledge is Power!!!!!!

FYI I was able to access fill hole by cocking the winch forward (right side) without disconnecting winch conections

You can remove the bolt without removing the winch. Remove the lower screw on the plastic face that's inline with the bolt. Peal the plastic back a bit and you can fit a 10" 1/4" extension to the bolt. Use a 1/4" to 3/8 adapter since the 8mm hex bolt is probably in 3/8 drive. There'll be plenty of play in the connections. You can also try a flexible extension. 3/8 extension won't work as there's a bracket in the way. The 1/4" extension is thin enough to get past the bracket and have an almost straight shot at the bolt.

My winch bracket is not the Polaris brand so it still may not work. I'll have to give that a try though! Thanks

You can get to the fill plug from under the front and don’t have to remove the winch. As for the front bumper, it would depend on your front bumper.

quick question is the rear diff a separate unit or does it get lubricated by the transmission fluids?? I can not find a video or any instructions on changing the fluids in the rear diff on a 2015 570 sportsman.

  • @JoshuaGammon

Hi John balogna. There is no rear differential. It's just a transmission/diff if you want to call it that. You just fill it and your go to go.

Demand drive fluid is for the front hubs only. The front diff uses angle drive fluid or a 75-90 gear oil.

When winch is in the road. Just drain from bottom plug, flip quad on it's side and re-fill differential oil in same bottom plug. Takes exactly 1 quart 75W-90 hub oil fluid. If you are doing it at the same time as an engine oil change, it's best to empty that engine oil first. Keep engine oil empty until you refill front differential and flip quad back upward. Makes it a 5 minute job. Then finish your engine oil change last.

Only slight issue I could see is your supposed to fill till it seeps out of the hole so unless you make it clear you would have no way of ensuring it is filled properly. Unless you are 100% sure it is 350mm of fluid
