FESTIVAL FORTE electronic music festival, which will take place between August 27th and 29th at the Montemor-o-Velho Castle in Portugal.
FESTIVAL FORTE stands out for its bold musical lineup. The 2014 edition was marked by solid content within the context of contemporary electronic music. In 2015, the festival returns and shows its FORTE, featuring a powerful bill with the most prominent names of the current scene.
In Portugal, "music festivals" have nurtured great interest from artists, the public and sponsors, and its success depends primarily on a strategy where the commercial dimension of the artist’s names is the predominant factor. SONICULTURE, promoter and label, focused on the dissemination of cutting-edge electronic music. It has combined new international trends with contemporary culture and, as mentor of FESTIVAL FORTE, is committed to reverse this trend and build a brand new value by focusing on quality and modernity.
In 2015, FESTIVAL FORTE will establish itself as a national and international landmark with regards to electronic music festivals, by betting on important values, with great impact, including the participation of ground breaking artists in the national and international scenes. The festival will take a huge step forward with the goal of exceeding the expectations of national and international audiences.

I had the extreme pleasure of seeing them last night here in Dallas, Tx at Granada theater ( small venue ) and being able to touch the stage all night. Leather Strip opened and he was fucking amazing. The after party was at Lizard Lounge and I got to meet Jean Luc upstairs with Leather Strip ( Claus Larsen ) only by accident because a girl came up to me and said she's knows Front 242. I followed her upstairs to the VIP area, neither of us had paid the VIP package for a meet and greet. But she actually knows Claus and we just blended in with about 7 other people. I got a picture with Jean Luc and Claus Larsen. Only the second time I have ever seen 242. I am 45 now and probably won't ever get to see them again, because they rarely come to the states.

Great band. You have Kraftwerk, Joy Division, DAF, Krupps... 242 is in the mix there... so let's have a box set of Front 242 asap. They deserve it. Pioneers of Electronic Music.

Great footage! Saw F242 as a support band for Depeche Mode on late 1987 and got strongly involved and fascinated with their music at that time, unlike the most of the Milan’s gig audience…

What a great look inside the inner workings of one of my favourite bands of all time. I had no idea that Foufs in Montreal (still around) was partially responsible for saving that tour with Wax Trax! Records. I hope to catch them again soon, it's been 5 years since I saw them last.

To me it's funny how they talk about evil and off. They where the albums that introduced me to F242 in the early 90s and are still my favourite albums. What they thought was musical suicide was actually genius, way ahead of its time.

6:07 live, the manic energy of R23 opposes and balances the dour, stalwart, stoicism of Jean Luc. This living study of contrasts sets up Patrick to be the puppet master directing both of them. But those with eyes to see, stand by the sound board and watch Daniel B. sculpt it all into an amazing live experience.

Mas eu pirava no estilo dele, meus pais jamais deixariam eu fazer metade das coisas que ele fazia, mas era super do bem, meus pais adoravam ele e tudo, mas adora uns cabelos loucos, roupas, botas, tatoos etc

Damm ! God gave us : Front242, Nitzer Ebb and Depeche Mode Those guys are not producing lousy, easy, simply accescible stupid love and feel good songs... Quite the opposite ! But they always open the door to an alternative and another/better world ... 49 y old but still they influence me enormously... 12 y old when i went (by bike for 50m) for my first DM concert and now i have more than 300 visits to the 3 aforementioned bands on my curriculum...& still keep digging them ! Body temperature now rising to above normal level, pupils dilatating, heartbeat greatly increasing and tongue numbness indicators are appearing to indicate approaching delirium level just by writing this... It’s not just capitalist opportunism that incited DM to have F242 and NE opening their awesome performances All this drives me back to my first Kraftwerk vynil when i was eight ...
