UKVTW2 is off to such a strong start! Other than Choriza being high and Scarlet being low I loved every part of this episode. La Grand Dame’s runway??? No one should be physically capable of wearing a frog outfit with puppeteered limbs and a frog tongue train, crossed out eyes, with an Eiffel Tower attached and be able to sell it as pure fashion. WTF. Marina devoured. Hannah did so well, it was so fun to hear the queens banter, Arantxa looks so stunning now! Can’t wait for next week!

Would have put Arantxa high; but Scarlet was the closest to the bottom 2, even though she was close she was still extremely far from the bottom 2 since Mayhem forgot hee lyrics while Gothy looked surprised she survived her performance

It uplifs more people and it avoids more negativity if not needed since they were not btm2 anyway. Hannah would have her well deserved high placement instead of a useless Scarlet low placement

I'm pretty sure Jonbers was parodying the typical "fashion girl" talent show. I didn't think anyone would take her performance that seriously.

Also, on her season she got a compliment from Ru for one of her looks. Calling it one of the most gorgeous looks to grace the stage. So she might’ve also done it as a dragged on acclaim that ru called her a fashion queen.

Charisma - sure, aesthetic - nah, Gothy looks cunt this season and she didn’t look that bad on UK season 1. They have a similar robotic, Posh Spice, replicunt, elite avantgarde escort you take to a gala and then to plow in Dubai type of vibe and I can’t say either has a “better look” about them

She has local drag performers as openers at her concerts and she honors drag for shaping her into the performer the she is today. She would be an AMAZING guest judge and so many of her songs would be amazing lip sync songs. Absolutely love Chappell and her love for drag

Hornella's talent show is a very classic Spanish cabaret/vedette song, one that both Supremme and the guest judge probably have done multiple times, so no wonder they loved it. It worked better in context.

um, I'm pretty sure they had Scarlett up on stage because she was in the bottom- NOT the top 3. Which I agreed didn't make sense.

I think paquitas was lost in translation cause when I saw it, it looked to me like the cast liked it and what sethlas said wasn’t really a question but a statement. More like “wow paquita, that scream. It’s left my heart feeling frazzled” instead of translating it to “wow paquita, that scream? It’s left my heart cold”. It also makes sense with the song choice. It was about not being stopped and being savage, free, and wild.

The headpiece on Scarlett is referenced to the movie drop dead gorgeous. Denise Richard's was wearing Mount Rushmore as a headpiece for the beauty pagent when they were asked to make a display what makes them proud to be an American (the theme of the pagent). You should really watch the movie if you haven't. Unfortunately, it's only available to buy on DVD but it's full of AMAZING actors. Kirsten Dunst, Denise Richards, Kirstie Ally, Allison Janey, Ellen Barken,Britney Murphey and Amy Adam's to name a few.

@@laincoubert7236 Exactly.. and the runway was beautiful.. but the only critique I would have is if her dress matched the Mount Rushmore piece on her head or if she came out as a statue of the Mount Rushmore with the grey skin and grey dress, she could've been high safe or top 3 for me.

Scarlet was low, not top, and she knew it too because she seemed pressed by it even while getting critiqued, her eye was twitching and everything.

In my opinion (and don't hate me for it now) bttm3 was correct for her, I laughed at none of the jokes she had in her number and I did not like the runway, the head piece had nothing to do with the dress, they were from 2 different scenarios. The dress on its own was beautiful, don't get me wrong, but how does a red dress tell me you are American, put some blue and white in it to make sense.

Hey! Huge fan. Just wondering if you can add markers on your videos to jump to a particular subject. For example, a marker for when you change to talking about Vs the world from talking about Espana all stars. Just to jump quickly to the part you are excited to hear you guys talk about! I've just found this channel and I'm enjoying y'all so much!!

Scarlet Envy was clearly low since Choriza was high, which is so weird to me, Jonbers seemed the third worse by a decent margin. And I get the idea of keeping Gothy because she never had a chance and Mayhem had several but Gothy clearly seemed to lack confidence and this is not the time to find confidence. They probably just gave her one extra episode when the clever thing would be to start thinning the UK girls out cause you know they will be allied together. I wonder if the show will even let her plug her onlyfans. And yeah, I think Hannah and Arantxa were both better than Choriza. I didn't think Espana's talent show was THAT bad. But yeah, it will be so hard for them to live up to S2's episode. Heck I compare every talent show to that one. I think the casting choices were just weird when it came to the UK queens. I like all these queens and they have solid personalities but none of them were particularly amazing at Drag Race (as they say, one badge between all four of them and let's face it, Choriza only got it because she was in the right group, if it was a solo win it would have been one of the other three). And you pit them against Marina, LGM, Hannah and Keta all of who were amazing at multiple challenges and could have easily been winners; three of them are Snatch Game winners with Marina a runner up, all except Hannah are solid dancers/performers, all of them can design and have good looks. I used to think that UK could not really get their best queens for this show because of no prize but there is a prize now so what's the tea?

Choriza being high was a choice. Scarlet did much better than her. I was confused at that judging this episode a bit.

I think for LGD's personality it's partly because of language even though Envy was able to overcome the humor/language barrier with her snatch game because you have to remember that LGD won snatch game so she was already considered to have a good sense of humor before this so it wasnt that shocking that she came up with something funny (mind you I dont speak french and i dont really remember her snatch game either haha)

My best example of wishing we got to see a queen make it to a certain challenge is that I’d like to see Trixie do a makeover challenge.

Once again advocating for Mangled Matinées for afternoon shows although I'm not sure if that's more of a (french) Canadian term. Big fan of you and Scarlett 💕

Loved Gothy’s number as well but both her and Tia were looking scared the whole time 😂 I would take Scarlett out of the bottom 3 and put Tia there. But Gothy would still be in the bottom 2 for me as much as I like her and her performance

Not to be shady, but I've been to a few drag shows where Gotty was DJing and she was really low profile all the time indeed. I don't have high hopes for her this season

I have met her at a joint m&g, she was lovely but so quiet. I am glad she has been given another shot.

UKvtW was great, I had so much fun watching. The judging was pretty on point, my only gripe was Keta (a) getting no screen , and (b) not being in the top. I'd have replaced Choriza witb Keta, as she had better talent AND runway. Mayhem was the obvious bottom but hey, at least her talent was iconically bad. And, Marina. God damn. This is her world and we're just living in it. Also loved España and thought it was a return to form. Sethlas certainky deserved the top, and it was good to see the judging wa a lot fairer (in fact they were harsher in Pupi than I expected). I think Sethlas will be going for the win and I'd love that but I can't not root for Juriji

Just finished watching UkvsWorld and ASEspana. Omg so much fun. So, I’m so happy seeing all these girls back. Sad that Onyx just couldn’t get there. Again.. The international divas, marina, LGD and miss Hannah are those girls. The polish, the raw talent and the adorable personalities I'm so into them and impressed. I also love the dynamic that the Americans are the weakest and not being pushed just because.

I cannot fathom how Jonbers wasn't in the bottom. It still feels like the only thing she's bringing is the fact that Ru finds her Irish schtick funny. Tia I think literally played it safe doing something she knows she can do well and wasn't risking bombing straight off the gate

Scarlet was low. Didn't agree with the high or low placements (Choriza and Scarlet were both solidly safe imo), but they had the right top 2, right bottom 2, right lip sync winner, and right elimination, so I'm not too mad.

I think Pupi got pretty famous for a song she had made a few years ago, even going on tours because of it, so I was not surprised about her doing a song for her talent. However, I thought Pakita was also a singer, though I could be remembering that incorrectly, so I was disappointed she didn't provide her own vocals during her silks performance. Also, I swear I heard Samantha's comedy bit somewhere else before, and fairly recently.

with Mayhem's performance I know she has forgotten lyrics before but as someone with bad brain fog i think her long covid messed her up. the way she recovered the first time she kept going even though it was nonsense words. This time she had nothing and that is brain fog your mind goes blank you cannot think of a single thing. it makes you want to cry and laugh from the awful absurdity of it.

The lyrics to Tia's song was so earnest that it was cringey.

The only two I disagree with was Choriza’s entrance look and Gothy’s runway. Choriza’s entrance look was by far the worst to me. The colors were not my fav or was the shape. But I liked Gothy’s runway look. It was more gender bending and showed her country and was fashionable.
