I'm really happy that Marina did so well in the first episode. It just goes to show that even in a smaller country where drag is just not as big like United States, Filipino queens should not be underestimated. She made the whole Filipino community proud. + Everyone in the cast is amazing, including Mayhem Miller, who unfortunately got sent home first. Despite leaving early, she created such an iconic moment, proving she's truly the queen of the party.

There actually were three countries in the line up that colonized the Philippines hahahaha Spain colonized the Philippines for more than 300 years, the UK for like 18 months or something, and the United States colonized the Philippines for 50 years. Honestly, one of the best premiere episodes!

Tia Kofi’s performance was underwhelming in the talent show. Honestly if it were up to me, her and Mayhem would’ve been in the bottom.

Sure, that’s a pretty good answer, I’d add though, because it’s the UK, ice isn’t something that’s put into drinks, especially alcoholic beverages hahaha, if you’re out in the UK you’d usually have to ask for ice if you wanted it.

When you two started talking about, and expressing your disappointment in, the fact that the winners in the UK don’t receive a single damn penny (I’m sorry… we’re in the UK, they don’t receive a single damn one pence! lol.), I got _sooo_ excited for y’all’s reaction to the reveal that that wasn’t gonna be the case this go-round!

Lipsync assassins are smart people, they match the energy and the vibe of the song. Both LGD and Marina showed both vibes of the song. Marina went the club kid dancing the house down route while LGD embodied the sexiness of the song. They both ate but I think Marina's clubbing all night long energy vibed with Ru more (Ru was a club kid after all and is still a club kid at heart) that's why she won.

@larry, oh yeah. I’m an Amanda stan. Jane was rude to only her. It didn’t make sense to me at all. It felt like Jane has a crush on Amanda. There were other queens like Megami, Mhi’ya, and Xunami who weren’t giving as much. Jane had every opportunity to say something to all 3 of them episodes 3-4 before Megami and Mhi’ya won girl groups.. but their runways? I wonder why Jane didn’t read them 2 for their runways like she did to Amanda.

LGD did good let's get that on board, she'd shine if she was alone on the stage but next to marina it fell flat. marina performed, LGD gave us poses. my eyes only went to her right at the start because she was so tall and pretty but marina took all my attention right when the song started. that queen nailed everything, from the facial expressions, the energy and the choreo was just 👏. despite being short, she looked big on stage cause her stage presence overpowered her opponent

I also was 50/50 about the lip sync and I know I am not the only one, a lot of people I watched the show with where divided , some gave it to la Grande dame and some to Marina and that is cool with me. There are people who just cannot stand if we do not see things their ways 😅 Me, I could not decide who I liked most. I am rooting for both Marina and la grande dame equally. I just love them both for different reasons. The fact that they where the top 2 made me so happy. I am hoping it will make people watch Drag Race France and Philippines because those are great Franchises. But yeah I’m team la grande dame and team Marina big times but I still can enjoy the rest of the Queens.

But this new, shorter cut (Which is a style that I see a LOT these days but that few people are actually pulling it off. Scarlet, IMO, is doing even more than just “pulling it off”!) really helps you focus on how good looking they are!! (I’m not sure of Scarlet’s preferred pronouns out of drag so I just used they/them. You pretty much hit the nail on the head… £50,000 pounds is $63,145 in USD. Which, at first, compared to $100,000 (£79,182.83) seems pretty “meh”. However, the UK doesn’t tax game show prizes like the US does. So, whoever wins this season will actually be taking home the full £50,000 ($63,145). Meanwhile, US winners who won the crown when the grand prize was $100,000 (Seasons 4 through 13 & All Stars 1 through 6.) took home roughly $65,000 after federal and state taxes were taken out. So, while it would be awesome to see the winning queens actually take home even _close_ to $100,000 or it would’ve even been nice to see the winner of UK vs The World get an amount closer to what the US queens take home nowadays (No more math for me. Sorry gays, my brain hurts. lol.) at least they’re finally getting _something._ And the £50,000 seems a lot more fair once you look at what the US girlies actually received.
