Hi....as a mom of 7 was homemaker for years. I'm 63 now everyone grown have 10 grandchildren..you my dear are a blessing to watch..you've got it all down and you do life with such grace and beauty..God Bless everyone of you.
It makes me so happy when i see children eating....😊
You’re superhuman plain and simple! All those kiddos, homeschooling, having a cold, farm chores! I don’t function the way you do when I’m a %100!!!

I don't think you get enough sleep 😴 either. Overworking a body won't show up now but it will get you when your older. I'm an example of just that. Please be cautious!
You know those are some farm fresh eggs when they’ve got hay stuck to them 😂 Everything looks great 😊
Love your cooker, with an empty space for trays. Love the not Pinterest, real life look of the cooking process: just life! Love from Spain
There’s something about watching those little hands reach for something wonderful to eat that gets me every time! 🥹 I bet that kitchen smells so delicious every morning! Thank you for great breakfast recipes! I love watching cooks that cook by eyeing the ingredients! When I was first married I hopelessly tried to write down my Mama’s recipes. She didn’t measure and I thought how in the world does she do that? Now forty-two years later, I get it. Smart to teach your girls early on that skill! 💕🙌🏻
Your salt box is my favorite thing. It’s like the highlight of all your videos for me!
Thank you so much for sharing. We are homeschooling 7 kids this year and having a hobby farm can derail anything lol so yes making breakfast ahead of time is a great idea
Anything I can make ahead is a helpful start to the day. Its very easy to get tired/frustrated making every meal from scratch, and getting other chores done. Sometimes people do not think of " cooking" as a valid choice of using time....until they are hungry! ( Lol) I still do it because its really the only way to " know" somewhat, what goes into our food! Health.
It always encouraging to see you using Costco or Walmart products! Sometimes it feels defeating when I can't get the speciality brands or the expense is too much for our family. I love your recipes and my children do as well.
I love these videos. You seem so efficient, Lisa. It seems like your kids will eat anything you make. It's probably that you don't have a house full of junk food. I'm trying to get my daughter to watch you! She wants to be home with her kids and work from home. I'm praying it works out.

My daughter-in-law recently started working full-time and brought me a bag of food for the kids the other day. They are one and three and she brought pizza rolls. I did not feel good about that at all! I fed them to them that day but yesterday I made them homemade chicken nuggets and baked then lightly fried sweet potatoes to be like a french fry. Much better choices! Blessings on your daughter getting to stay home with her family! And what a blessing you are to encourage her!

@@livingwellanyway3279 I reread my comment and it did sound harsh. I am so sorry! I love my daughter-in-law severely and I meant no harm towards her. I know we have both been trying to figure out how to make a full-time job work for the two of us, her working and me with the babies. I was just surprised because she is a superior cook and Baker and dreams of opening her own restaurant. I have been trying to bless her each morning by preparing a breakfast for her before she goes to work as she drops the babies off. Thank you for keeping me in check! Your comments are deeply appreciated!
So amazing!
Blessing to y'all
We love your rustic granola recipe. Adding dried cherries is our favorite. 🌾🍒
Make-ahead breakfasts sound superb to me. Breakfast is an essential at our home. Loving the breakfast taco make-aheads!
Your cooking videos are my favorite!
Love love your receipes🍂
Kudos to you! Don’t know how in the world you do it!!
Thank you those burritos look so good!
Everything looks so good.
This looks excellent. I have been spending my Sunday evenings prepping food for the week and I think these will all work and sit nicely in the fridge.
I'm excited to try your granola! I also like to mix up a batch of baked oatmeal the night before and bake it in the morning. So yummy!
I love your videos Lisa. You’re such a great mom and creative thinker in the kitchen. You don’t know how much you have helped me. We now almost 100% eating at home and I just started homeschooling our toddler who’s three and just had our second child and I’m a full-time student. Efficiency during breakfast is the one thing I need because it’s the hardest meal for me to make in the morning.
Always a go go go on the farm for us. Get so busy with projects that we want to get done the day gets away from us. Rough life 😊
Ooo baking those and keeping them like taco-ey is a great idea! I often only have the smaller tortillas so that’s perfect lol

Loved, loved this video! Thank you so much!
Your videos always have the most soothing background music. Simply a joy to watch!
Definitely trying that muesli recipe this week! Looks like my kind of breakfast. Would love to see that baked pancake option in a simpler version too!
These look delicious! I love homemade granola.🤍Thank you for the ideas!
Great meals and they look yummy. I hope you feel better real soon. 🙏😊
Thank you - your breakfasts look so delicious 😍
Lisa, you are a wonder!
Thank you for sharing! I love that you had three recipes that don't focus on scrambled eggs because I have an intolerance and have a hard time finding/thinking up non-egg focused quick and easy breakfasts. I'm excited to make the first three up for me and my kiddos!
Wow I love the recipes you’ve shared and it is truly appreciated. Lisa you are a Wonder Woman for sure. Feel better!
They all look wonderful, thanks for sharing 🤗💕

New recipe I made last night and reheated this morning that was delicious, curried lentils and scrambled eggs.
My toddlers favorite meal of all time is maple syrup sweetened Greek yogurt with berries and my homemade granola.
OMG! Wonderful ideas for a great breakfast.

Amazing! Thank you LOVE your food content so much!
Hope you feel better, Lisa! I'll be praying! Hey, if a homeschooling mom wanted to move to homestead, could you give tips about living in Missouri and what you like about homeschooling/homesteading there in a video? My husband got a job offer there.
I loooove making make ahead pancakes. I typically make them on sundays or a day in the week where we might be having a slow and easy morning. I will make 2-3x what the recipe calls for and then freeze them for the next weeks or days to come. I still have some in the freezer from last month 😅 it will be our Saturday breakfast. I even do them for snacks sometimes. You gotta find what works for your family. I loved these ideas!

Just want to say I appreciate seeing you use "dirty" eggs in your videos bc my eggs don't always come out squeaky clean from the coop 😅🤣

Love this thank you for sharing! Wondering where you get your einkorn flour in bulk?
This is so timely. I’m doing meal planning and trying to decide what the kids will actually want to eat that I can make ahead. These look so delicious!

Hey Lisa, could I use vanilla Kiefer that is really thick instead of yogurt do you think? Or would that not be a good plan. I love this recipe!
Really would like to try einkorn sometime but it is very hard to find here. Usually I make baked oatmeal. Or oats pancakes. And indeed different kinds of overnight oats. For summer a lemon blueberry is great, or a pumpkin spice in autumn, or apple cinnamon and raisin. Endless options :) Making granola is still on my list to make sometimes, perhaps this winter I'll make time on a Sunday with the breakfast make ahead meal prep. My daughter would like to eat breakfast burritos every day, but I like to give her a lot of diffetent things in the morning so that's a once in a while thing.

Ahh get better soon
The pancakes look like blondies. yum!! I'm so curious about the texture
Cool that you can leave the oats out overnight! I hesitate to make things because threes no room in the fridge.
You have to try Bircher Muesli.
We love doing just yogurt and granola in the morning especially on mornings where we are running behind. What temperature and how long did you bake the pancake for?
Do you have a recipe for the einkorn sourdough pumpkin pancakes?
I don't see the pumpkin pancake recipe.... ;) But I need it 😜
One of my favorite make-ahead breakfasts lately has been quiche! I'm a big time egg eater and am always looking for ways to use up a lot of eggs, they're so easy to make and can be made rich/more traditional or healthier without crust and doing half whole eggs, half egg whites. Throw in loads of wilted spinach and roasted zucchini with onion.. SO so good.
How long do you bake the 9x13 baked pancake and at what temp? Thanks!
We do not eat breakfast (intermittent fasting), and that made things much easier (and less dishes to wash). Your breakfasts look amazing though I would add some greens.

I love Jabuarys after the horribly hot, humid and often stormy weather here in Ga. Summer is not my favorite sason at all. Its noisy as school is out, taffic worse with teenage boys driving too fast & wreckless shoing off. I'll take babies anyday & their pepectual care. The ac never turns off in summer as it's hot outside, expensive utilitues Sept-Dec very low utilities, We 2 live in 10040 sq feet& it's spacious. Rhoda Bowen, conyers, GA
What pan are you using for the eggs? I’m at a loss at what kind of nonstick is safe and I need to resets on my cast iron.
What temp and time in oven for pumpkin chocochip oven pancakes?
Did you say the measurements of the pumpkin spice and the purée? How long to bake and temp?
Can I ask what brand the pot you used for your granola is and do you like it?
Hi Lisa! My 3 year old daughter Hannah and I love watching your videos together to get wonderful ideas for nourishing meals to cook together! My question is how do you get your yogurt so thick? Our raw milk yogurt is always thin and runny. Thank you!

@@elizathies6303 Hi Eliza! No I haven't done that but thank you for the suggestion! I will try it!😊
For the pancake bake, could I use raw milk instead of buttermilk?
The key to granola is making a LOOOOT more than u do, at one time I made quadruple that and I only had 3 kids at that time It keeps for weeks, all dry
What non stick pans do you use?
If I bake the pancakes, what temp and for how long, does anyone know?
The last one was my favourite. I do find it a struggle getting the children to try new things though. Today I made a baked chocolate oatmeal (or porridge as we call it) they both rejected it straight off!

I've been doing really good with my sourdough starter forgot the feed it for a few days so I stuck in the fridge and then I took it out and saw a teeny tiny blackish dot maybe two I got one of them out not sure if the other one is down in there is that mold Do I have to dump it and start over? Also the other one that I keep in the fridge does have an orangish spot on it which I read means you have to dump it out I'm frustrated I've been keeping this going for a while now I feel like I have to start over
Would you say each spoonful for the 9×13 was about a cup? I want to try this recipe, but am nervous to wing it! Lol
My homemade granola always comes out too oily. I need to try again.
For the granola recipe…would I be able to omit sautéing it in the pan/pot? I’ve tried it without sautéing in a pot and going straight to the sheet. Does it make it better by sautéing it?
@MichalLisa
Жыл бұрын
I don't *think* she's sauteeing the oats? I think the stovetop step is to get the oil & honey to melt down to liquid so that it can evenly coat the oats, and then they're just going into the pot to mix instead of dirtying a mixing bowl.
That's enough
Recipe for yogurt ? Can I make it in my instant pot

It's interesting to me as an European how people make such a big fuss of breakfast in the US. We just have some milk and bread/cookies/breakfast cereal but many of us don't eat anything at all because we are not hungry in the morning.
@abcxyz-cx4mr

I think breakfast is more important in Northern European countries (and Germany and the U.K.), many people in those countries tend to eat porridge, muesli - I even think muesli was created in either Germany Austria or Switzerland - and granola with yogurt, for breakfast
You should wash your farm fresh eggs, right before you use them! The poop on the outside will contaminate the eggs with bacteria, when you crack them open. I also pour pancake batter into a large cookie sheet (the kind with edges) on top of parchment paper, and bake. Standing at the stove flipping pancakes takes forever! Tripling any normal recipe usually works for that. I'm not sure what you mean by "leave it out overnight"...with the yogurt and milk added to the oats, fruit and nuts? I know about soaking oats overnight, but typically in water.
