Thanks. 😊 I’m finding doing the voiceover is a lot easier than trying to talk over the sound of the sharpener. Plus gives me time to think things out, so that it’s even more beneficial. If there is ever things you want me to talk about just let me know and I’ll see if I can put them in a future video.

@@jimcallahan3408 currently I am running a 400w inverter connected directly to my battery in my truck. Most of my appointments are about an hour long. So it has minimal effect on my truck battery. My eventual goal would be to get a second battery to put in my truck box. Later planning on getting a solar or propane generator. For events. 😊

Hi Sam. Good video. Just curious what you charge? I sharpen here in the San Francisco Bay area at home for a side hustle and only charge $1 per inch. I use an Edge Pro Apex as well as a Harbor Freight 1x30 that I did the Currys Custom Cutlery conversion on with the variable speed sewing machine motor and the new rollers he sells from his website.

Thank you for the kind words. I useto do $1 per inch. But since the beginning of this year I switched to $8 per kitchen knife.

Sounds good. 😊 500 should be plenty enough for the 1x30. I always shoot for a 20% over what is needed, just as a fail safe. I’m glad I could help. And can’t wait to hear the stories you will have from the people you sharpen for. 😊
