Thanks so much :)
You can live two lifetimes in Paris and not experience all of it. 😃 It's my spiritual home; from visiting my grandmother there as a child in her home in the 4th, to working on a project there as a fledgling architect, the food, the walking, to people watching. Similar to you guys, it is what fueled my decision to move to France. And here I am...

Such nice memories :)
I can see why you moved there. Love the architecture, the slower pace of life, history....So much to see. Great video!
Nice to see you took a break from all the restoration, gardening, and animal care. Always look forward to your fun videos. Happy weekend from across the pond.

2 videos in 1 week , thank you 😊. Looks like you had a great time in Paris. Beautiful footage. Thank you for sharing your mini vacation with us all. ❤
Hi Amanda Hi Lincoln The two of you rock. Thank you for all of it even the parenting that we don’t see. I had once a fluffy cat who was white and wheat color. Gorgeous. His name was Kabuki. He looked it too. His sister was Miss Pruet. She became ProoieWoo. He was always. Kabuki. One day Kabuki ate an electrical lamp cord or tried to. Lucky I was sitting there to unplug that cord. He checked out fine with the vet who told me to spray all the cords in my house with the deodorant Sure (is it still made?). It does not hurt a cat who tries it. They just drop the cord as it tastes so awful. Never a problem after that. Next day Kabuki thanked me by dropping a green garter snake on the big ole stone at my kitchen door. Ha! Your garden place, Amanda, might be called your She Shed. My chives are up in Connecticut. Keep up the great humor. It still grows on me like a fine French wine. Cheers.
Your 3 legger is such a joyful soul.
Love you guys and your light hearted comments. Thank you from NZ
The chandelier at 4:12 is stunning.
Under the Eiffel Tower will be the volleyball courts for next summer's Olympics.
The hare is my favourite native animal and I feel complete joy when I spot one or more in the field.
What a perfect getaway for two ... 🗼
I liked to see where it all started for you 🕊️💕🕊️ You make each space magical Thank you ❤️🐰
Lovely. You had a dream and turned it into reality.
Amanda, that was lovely. Enjoyed the edit and music, and the story of how it all started for you and your family…

Beautiful couple! I loved seeing you reenact your ltalian grandmother on your previous video. It was hilarious! You have a great sense of humour Amanda! Loved seeing Paris! ❤
I always enjoy you two, but this was really great, thanks for taking the trouble to take along your camera.
I stayed in Paris for a week, my mornings working at a travel agency, temporary job preparing arrival of big group of hotel managers visiting The Paris hotel equipment fair. Afternoons were spent walking around the streets, listening to people, seeing the chic women in their normal daily routines, the smells of the patisseries, the fish shops that had every imaginable specie you could imagine, a black risotto (squid liquid) that had me hiding my mouth all afternoon, delicious with Beaujolais, the cobbled streets with sounds of living, eating, arguing and some singing. The Eiffel tower 🗼 was impressive but the crowds took the desire to stay , the Louvre was kilometres of walk appreciating art and the skill of these artists. Perfumes!!!! Oh my, my nostrils went berserk! The traffic was insane, the architecture was breathtaking but the most impressive thing was (apart from perfumes) how the people live their lives, loud conversations, gesticulation and I don't know how to put it in words for the French cuisine, simply delicious! The fashion, the cuisine, the arts, the elderly gents and ladies at the caffe's give you the best of the best in Paris.
A wander and few nice drinks in that city is a balm for the soul. I’m just as obsessed with France but haven’t made it permanent yet. Hope u guys had a relaxing time 🥂☕️🍰🍲

I will probably never get to Paris so I especially love home movies of it. Usually see streets and shops that are very different. Thank you for the tour❤
A well deserved getaway! I lived in Paris for a year and never got enough of it! There’s always so much to do!
It’s always good to take a trip and rejuvenate. It’s good for the soul. Paris couldn’t think of a better place.
Glad you guys were able to get away from the DIY/renovation work and enjoy Paris. There really is no place on earth quite like it.
I like it when you take us on trips to nearby villages or to nearby stores and to Paris. Great to see these!!!
I remember your first video and Lincoln‘s reaction in it. He has come a long way! Of the two of you, who has more fun?
Wow! Paris! Loved it! .......And the cat and donkeys too! Thrilled for the now married guys!!!! All beautiful!! Big smile!!!
I rented apartments every time I visited Paris with my little son, frozen French food is as gourmet as it comes, and we had such a great time cooking & shopping while we were there. Saved so much money packing backpacks of picnics while we explored the city.
It was nice to watch your video and to reminisce about all the places I used to visit on my numerous trips to Paris. And renting an appartment is the only way to go! It certainly is a place where you can wander to your heart’s content or where you can sit at a café terrace and do some serious people watching. Now, if you want fantastic chocolates, plan a trip to Belgium. It’s not that far for you. (Ok, being belgian, I’ll always promote my home country, but it is truly a little gem worth exploring). Glad you took some time off for yourselves. You certainly deserve a break. Greetings from 🇨🇦

Bonjour Amanada and Lincoln, Paris is so lovely, and it's nice when we get to see through our KZread channels, it is up close and personal. Thanks for taking us along. Congratulations on the halters only taking five minutes. I just love the Donkeys. What a fantastic video, thanks for sharing. Love from N.Y.

Beautiful Paris. Congrats to your friends. I am glad you both got away together. The animal cam was awesome. ❤
Lovely video! A Paris break is always welcome! I used to live there for many years before moving to NYC 30 years ago, and last time i went (last month) I finally visited a museum that I never visited before which is now one of my favorites in Paris: le Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, in le Marais. If you haven't been, I truly recommend it! Despite it's off-putting name, it is absolutely gorgeous! It's more a museum about the relationship between nature and man and the arts than hunting, and the museum itself and its collections are breathtakingly beautiful. The curation of the objects d'arts and the way everything is displayed is truly unique, like a slightly surreal and "fantasque" hotel particulier, I've never seen any museum like this before! Because of your love of design, you will probably like it too! It feels very intimate, and sophisticated and also very humorous, and it's never crowdy, and the the people working there are lovely too (how very un-Parisian!)

I haven't been to Paris since March 2000. I'm way overdue for another visit to France. Good for you two to get away for a change of scenery and to relax, take a break. :)
You have a very good style eye , when choosing your shots , really good composition framing and subject matter, you capture the beauty
Now I know what picture I need to have when I go to the louve. Lol
Love Paris and good to see you chill a little, you have all that land but never see you sit in it, there’s always something to do…..
Every couple needs to get away sometimes!! This was a fun video and made my mind wonder back to the times I've been to Paris. Thanks for letting us live vicariously through the wonderful videos you share.
Hahaha ! La Bamba in a Paris Park, isn't it a wonderful world. Gotta find the beauty in small things, when it seems like the big ones are bonkers ! Thanks for sharing, sincerely, San Diego California.
I loved the history of how you came to buy a chateau. Thank you taking us to Paris.🤗🇨🇦
Your life is exactly what I wish I had. There is nothing I’d rather live in France’s countryside.
Be thrilled you are there and not in the crazy world right now.
Great video......so relaxing and so glad to see you guys get away🍷👍. Love those animals!!!
You reminded me I haven’t been to Paris in 18 months and now I’m wondering why ? I usually go every other year, but the Olympics this next year had me rethinking that. Glad you had nice time away.
Thank you for sharing this about yourselves, it brings a better understanding of how you ending up where you are in life! I love seeing the dogs running and playing!!
This was fun to learn these fun facts. Love the older pics. Clearly your fascination with France started early. You guys left San Fran at a good time as well. Good instincts. --CT

I've always been a looky-loo, used to walk my kids up to people's doors, as they were trick or treating, way past the time they needed to be accompanied. These shows on UTUBE are a treat ; )
wat was ik ontroerd en emotioneel toen jij het dieren kerkhof hebt laten zien daar gingen mijn tranen weer, geweldig jullie uitstap
No matter what you do...where you go!! I am coming toooo!!!
❤I’m so glad (and a bit jealous 😂) that you were able to go to Scott and Michael’s reception. And really happy that you had a nice trip away 😊

Another wonderful video.
Someday I hope my husband and I can go to Paris. Thank you for sharing.
What a lovely get away! Thanks for sharing!🏆
Love Paris and miss it so. Too many years since I lived there. Love these adult getaways you show us on your channel great viewing. I am now a retired dressage horse trainer and believe me you are doing very well with the Donkeys. They are not the easiest animals to socialize and glad to hear the Farrier is regular and still with you, can be a stressful thing when they won’t work with your animals.

Enjoyed seeing your Paris, I have been fortunate to visit Paris a number of times and we always have an apartment. I must go to the pet cemetery when I visit next.
Thank you, Amanda and Lincoln. I have to say, your videos are lovely. I feel like I'm getting a chance to see Europe in a totally different way. Hopefully, I will see France next.
What a lovely trip 😊 thank you for taking us along! I really enjoyed it ❤ brilliant news that the donkeys only took 5 mins this time with their harnesses bless their hearts xx
Did I miss the video of your finished bathroom? I do love Paris too. You and Lincoln must love that when you leave Paris you go home to your Chateau 😍

Thank you for sharing your trip with us all. Love all your videos.
Your videos of Paris were exquisitely filmed, just beautiful. The love shows! Well done!!!!
What a life! Love what you two have and are creating!
Paris, oh Paris !
What a nice surprise, an unexpected video!
BEST TO YOU
Looked like a wonderful trip. Y’all deserve some R&R 😊
What a lovely trip. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Great that you managed a break - can’t remember how many decades we’ve had one without children or young people think we are well well overdue not been to Paris for such a long long time and even then was a flying visit - love the donkeys I want them 😅….. hope all went well with the farrier ❤
Thanks for the little tour de Paris😊bet it was lovely getting back to your haven after the hustle and bustle 💜
Great that you indulged yourselves and went to Paris

Lovely! And. OT a rugby supporter in sight in Paris! I'm in the process of planning our next trip to SW France ...not 'til 2024 though☹️
Lincoln is such a good sport to be the star of this video…you are a genius at shooting videos and editing…plus you always have entertaining subject matter, you both are such a great team. You make us all very jealous with such a wonderful life you have worked so hard to achieve. 😍 waiting with bated breath for your next installment.
Love your videos! Thanks for sharing Paris with us and your many trips there. Can you share about how you and Lincoln learned to speak French sometime in one of your future videos? ❤- best to you! - Susan

If I understand it correctly, your plan is to close the staircase going to cellars from the inside of your house. If you have a boiler/heater in the cellar and there is a chance for the heat to naturally rise during the heating season through the open staircase to the first floor, than I would keep the staircase connected.
Thank for sharing those images of beautiful Paris (better than tattoos!), brings back my own memories of three visits. Amazing what’s going on during the night, thanks to your wild life camera.
Good for you and your friends. Some times you need a diversion to remain sain. What a beautiful city. Wow on the critter cam. Donkeys are fun just likes horses. We have a special needs horse who because of her issues requires oral tranquilizer to take the edge off her jerking her left front leg out of the farriers hand. Her issues are severe (shoe boil) which manifests from the elbow. If that should happen to you some time down the road which it may not, but one never knows we order Dormgel from the veterinary website. Saratoga Rx with a script from vet which coincides with the visit by our farrier every 5 to 6 weeks. Not sure if they do that in France. Your donkeys, They seem to be fine and they appear to love getting lots of attention from you. We are getting the cold soon in Upstate NY.
Great video! We will be in Paris in 2 weeks. My son wanted to go on the Eurostar train for his birthday. I’m looking forward to the food as well!

Amanda, your videos are so creative and beautiful. I too love Paris, and no matter how many times you visit, you can never see everything. I do believe you have the best of both worlds by living on a beautiful estate with magnificent views and a stunning chateau, but just a train ride to Paris. To me, your decision to change your lives was ideal. I love Lincoln’s walk around Paris! The donkeys seem to be getting used to the routines of life, including meeting with the ferrier and putting on their halters. Good parenting on your part. xx

I needed to see this video after watching you two working your selves to the bone on garden and chateau! This is the reward- time away by yourselves in the magic city of Paris.
Very nice! Thanks for the tour and so glad you both had a getaway 😊
