Für immer im Ehren ! Fritz Walter - der größte Fußballer aller Zeiten! Jedes Jahr am 31. Oktober fahre ich nach Kaiserslautern und verneige mich vor deinem Grab. Was letztes Jahr zum 100. Geburtstag von ihm los war, das war unglaublich. Ein älterer Herr aus der DDR noch vor dem Mauerbau, erinnerte sich, redete mit mir und erkläre mir, was dieser Sieg für sie damals bedeutete. Mittendrin brach er in Tränen aus und konnte nicht mehr an sich halten. Diesen Moment werde ich bis zu meinem Tode nicht vergessen! Danke Friedrich - Fritz Walter für alles was Du für uns und unser Vaterland geleistet hast!

Fritz Walter was a player with enormous qualities but he was part of a German team with personalities that also have their own stars such as Helmut Rahn, Toni Turek, Horst Eckel, Werner Kohlmeyer, Ottmar Walter and Max Morlock. These players that I mentioned also deserve recognition from FIFA too!
