Frisco Campground Full Tour Outer Banks North Carolina (RV Living) 4K
We camped in our fifth wheel camper in the Outer Banks (OBX) North Carolina/ Cape Hatteras in Oct. 2021. We loved it so much, we are going to the same dry camping (see our videos on our solar system & generator) national seashore/scenic byway campground very soon.
Larry kite surfed, e foiled, we saw two lighthouses, along with many beautiful sunsets on the campground beach.
In this video, we first show you a minute of the fun stuff in the campground & close by.
Then we show you every site (scroll to find your site #) in the campground, along with amenities and water fill/ dump station at Cape Point Campground.

“Frisco Campground with 127 [dry camping] sites is located west of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse near the village of Frisco, North Carolina. A public boardwalk allows easy ocean access for campers, and public bathhouses, grills, and picnic tables are available. Open April 2-Nov. 29, 2021.” See Cape Point Campground info below for water fill and dump station.
PROS: short walk to beach; great for solar & StarLink (no trees); generators allowed; great location near stores/ferry/lighthouses; beautiful sunsets on beach; good price; kite at beach at campground; dogs allowed on beach

Looks like a very nice campground with lots of space between the site which is always a plus. I will forgo the other stuff for that when at a campground. The sites look great. Nice animation on the map as well. Well Larry to bad them aliens did not take Alice. You would be a free man. lol

It’s amazing how different each site can be. And a 35’ site barely with fit a 35’ fifth wheel but not vehicle. And you can only park on the parking pad

Loved that lighthouse at the end of video. Nice park too! It’s big! Sites looks nice too! They are big too and nit too close together some of them. How was it here? I was wondering how you took such great shots of video? It looked like you were in the truck. But not sure! Nice Scrappy at the end. Hope you have a great night and week and great weekend.

Larry had hurt his leg so he sat in the back of the truck for filming. The sites were all very different- some more privacy, some bigger. We are headed there again in a couple of months. The lighthouses were awesome - too bad we couldn’t climb them You have a great weekend, too 🤗

Thanks. We tend to use several artists We get all our music from Epidemic Sound (link in description) So I find using the Shazam app the best- it can listen and identify songs and even where to find it. Hope that helps 🤗

Do you happen to know if they allow golf carts at the campground? I know most areas like this do not. I can't seem to find any info on that on the website

I think I remember a special pass needed for the beach. But didn’t see any golf carts. I would call the Cape Point Campground- they would know for sure

It is quite a drive, but so much to see in the area 🤗
this location would not b on my agenda; too complicated, not beautiful enough, I guess I need bigger leafy trees etc. plus being so close to the ocean, wd need more hair spray! ha ha!
