Best description I've found, but please make more use of a tripod. You need both hands on the work just like we all would.

Thank you so much bro, it was a whole pillowcase in my pump. It took me less than 20minutes to get it back going and I didn't spend a dime. Thanks again!

This video is so helpful! Thank you so much. I took off those annoying, difficult pressure clamps and replaced them with hose clamps that can be tightened with a screwdriver. So much easier to reattach when cleaning coin catcher and housing.

Something to hold the camera would be nice. That being said, this video was helpful in so many ways that others were not! Seeing the real clog, checking the motor since the washer is open anyways and the access underneath was fantastic. Thanks.

Vacuum out the tub and drain hose with a shop vac. That removes about 3/4 gallon or more of water. Then pull washer out about 2 feet, tilt it back against wall, stuff a large towel in the bottom-back and under the boot area and access coin catch boot by removing only the largest top retention ring. Fixed with clean-up in an hour and much easier. Usually the pump is not the issue. Tip: don't fill the washer with small items and large items, and don't stuff the small items to max either. The large items or overfilled washer tub will work small things like panties and small socks thru to the coin catch. That's what was in mine, clogging it...panties and a bikini top pad lol.

Good video. No need to take the rear panel off. Other videos show removing the whole front and top, also not needed. You can access everything (pump and coin catch) from the underside by tilting the washer backwards up against the wall. It's a pain in the ass but shorter and simpler than removing the extra panels.

Thanks for this fabulous video! We found the same piece of wire in ours but it’s not an underwire. Not sure if it came from somewhere inside the washer parts?? We now know our pump is fine and we’ll work to clean out the drain pump ourselves. Thx again

My Frigedaire Front loader Washing Machine model # FWFB9200ES0 does not have a coin trap in the drain hose. All the videos I've watched show the coin trap. Is the model suppose to have one as well? I'm the only owner and I've had it for 17yrs. The only thing ever done to it is what I'm trying to fix right now. I think it's actually the door latch assembly that's the issue after watching a few more videos and reading but don't want to put the drain hose back on if I should buy the coin catcher to put in it first. What I would absolutely love for you to explain is how a sock, coins, etc get into to drain hose to begin with. Like what do they go through from drum. I can see things going through the little hose like a bobby pin, thread, hair, etc. ANYWAY, Any help is appreciated. I thank you for your time in advance!

So I just cleaned my pump out, thanks for the great video. But the red flapper valve on mine was deteriorated. Is it absolutely necessary & if so can point me to where to get a replacement please?

flipper is to prevent backflow should still work without it. You we have to replace the whole pump to replace it

You are probably way past this question, but I wanted to chime in for anyone in the future who is looking for this reply. It's probably a good idea to have one on there .. And FYI... Some dishwashers use the same drain pump or very similar. If the flapper is for sure all you need, you can find it by searching dishwasher category

I have a Frigidaire fffs5115pa0 front loader washer throwing a e21 code. I've replaced the drain pump twice thinking I got a bad one the first time. The hoses are all clean with no clogs. I've also replaced the door switch and the main control board that runs the pump. The white/red and purple wires going to the pump all look good too.. Ive done all of this and still getting the e21 code. Any ideas?

Check the pressure switch and hose that goes to it. Take apart every hose that water flows through to exit the washer for a blockage. And make sure when putting the drain holes down the pipe on the wall that its not all the way down the hole, it could be getting submerged in water which will slow down drainage

@@LeanOnYourRep is the pressure switch the black box up top? All of the drain hoses were checked and it drains into a big concrete sink so its good there. I appreciate the help! Been going nuts over this thing.

@@LeanOnYourRep I disconnected the pressure switch hose and blew through it and could hear the water bubbling. I tried to run a spin cycle again and it wouldn't drain, it just spun. I then disconnected the pressure switches wiring and it took about 30 seconds and it threw the E31 code for the switch. Still not draining.

Hi! I'm not getting any error codes because mine's an older 2003 Frigidaire GLTF1670AS. The motor I have is model 131770600. Would the same Ohms measurements apply to that? Here's a short video of mine (buzzing and attempts to spin): kzread.infoUYPLqRYRjbo Need help figuring out what the issue is. Thanks for any help! Any idea how to get a specific motor specs to test Ohms, etc., without any documentation - even Frigidaire's website search yields nada.
