All frieren's enemies got a taste of their own medecine. Qual was killed by his own spell, zoltraak. The demon in the prison was killed by frieren crushing his neck, and aura was killed by her own power.

Aura actually didn't underestimate her though, if anything she was being EXTREMELY cautious aroundher. It's her confidence on her innate skills that doomed her because she had checked the possibility of Ftieren restraining her mana and everything she could in order to assure her win. If anything, frieren is the abnormal one here as if it was any other mage, they would have lost too even if they tried restraining their mana

The demon didn’t know that. One of flamme tips given to frieren to kill demons was to train the 1000 years but not being famous, only when they defeat the demong king. In aura’s eyes, feieren be like 100-200 years against aura who was 500+ years

Thank you for the episode!! Frieren fern and stark might be my favorite fantasy party of all time. They’re just so damn badass. This might be my vote for anime of the year. Can’t wait for the next episodes!

28:09 Something to note here. Every other human/elven mage we see in the series generally uses a staff or wand to cast offensive magic. Clearly it's something to focus their magic, to make the casting easier or stronger or something along those lines. Before the fight with Lügner, Fern has to recover hers before she can fight back. Even Frieren uses a staff. But we never see Flamme with one.

honestly frieren is a breath of fresh air with its concept exploring the end of a usual story of a party of adventures beating the demon lord, on top of that it's getting amazing production quality with great themes, jjk is good but in the end sticks with the shounen tropes

Unpopular opinion: I disagree with Himmel scolding Frieren for blowing the bodies of the knights away. They're already dead. They're fighting a powerful demon. They're supposed to be trying to win using whatever means possible.
