One of the most common signs of rabies is excessive drooling or foaming at the mouth. The animal could be acting abnormally aggressive or friendly, or could be walking around in a daze. So while this fox is acting friendly, the lack of any other noticeable symptoms makes me doubt this guy is sick. And yes, Alex is correct that not all animals get rabies (the virus only effects mammals). It's surprisingly very rare for rodents to get infected from it. It's primarily domestic dogs and bats you should be careful with. There is a vaccine.

They actually will do so. Foxes, just like any other animal, all have distinct personalities. Some are braver than others, some are timider than others and skittish, some are more aggressive than others. If a fox were more aggressive and felt threatened, you can be assured it would attack another animal smaller than itself. The Save A Fox channel isn't a good representation of the behavior of wild foxes, because Mikayla is a trained professional and knows how to approach them and handle them in a way that doesn't disturb or annoy the animals, and beyond that, none of the foxes at the Save A Fox compound are wild foxes. They're foxes that have been bred in captivity at fur farms or as pets, and have never BEEN in the wild. That's why they're at Save A Fox, because releasing them into the wild would be a death sentence for them, because they don't really know HOW to be wild foxes.

Give a wild animal food and it'll start to associate Humans with food, this association risks getting the animal in trouble, it's typically better for the animal to not make that association, lest they get hurt/put down later down the line. Always try to appreciate nature's beauty without disturbing it.
