My cat employs the same strategy when she happens to be outside and we are eating dinner. We call it the "determinately licking my way through the kitchen window"-strategy. She will also make a rather good impression of the sound of those geese when she's tired of licking.
Fox ~ if I hold my tongue on the glass long enough - I can actually taste those geese..YUMMY ...LOL

Depends were you get the fox. Novosibirsk conducted an experiment on Nature VS Nurture. One (large) group of foxes continually bred to be SUPER friendly towards people, they LOVE people. The other group bred in the opposite way. The point: You can now buy these extremely friendly and domesticated foxes as pets. They are awesome pets.

My puppy does this. She is an Australian Cattle Herder. Sometimes she reminds me of a fox. She gets in to EVERYTHING, she's smart (sometimes), she has giant ears, A LOT of energy, and she makes plenty of messes. She just isn't as agile as a fox.

No, it's still ongoing. They may have changed locations. You're actually able to contact them if you want a fox of your own. I'm on their page right now. From what I've seen they are more domesticated than my dog, lol.
