She certainly knew her Uncle Alex was dangerous - she witnessed him murder her stepfather Charles Vallow! I think ultimately Tylee trusted her mother Lori to keep her safe - but when she started calling her a 'Zombie', and she saw how close her mom was with Alex and Chad, she must have become very frightened. She was sadly right to be - her mother betrayed her and JJ in the most despicable way, throwing them to the lions.

I think he is the planner and ringleader of all of this. Despite what happened to Charles, and may have also been done to Joe Ryan, I find it difficult to believe that she alone or with Alex would have been involved directly in killing the children unless her lover/prophet wasn’t pushing her to allow or be involved in their murders. I believe she didn’t know what happened to them after their deaths because Chad and Alex took care of the murders and disposal of bodies. That’s why Alex had to die too.

Chad could not keep his lies straight and obviously imagined his superior intelligence would be enough to carry him through. Despicable human being on all levels.

It’s very annoying how he tries to use these witnesses to state facts that they really would not know, like who lives where and the utilities, acreage of the property etc. He should wait and call witnesses who would actually have this information, rather than just guessing. I don’t understand this strategy. Maybe he wants to avoid calling Chad or other family members.

Am I the only one who thinks after hearing the Insurance Lady that Chad’s son Mark was next on the insurance (death) list to benefit from?!?! The dependent would have to be 26 or under and claimed on his taxes! Chad wanted $$$ to bail Lori out of jail😳

No, that discussion was about MEDICAL insurance, not life insurance. The woman is a broker of different types of insurance policies. They were trying to get Lori and his 2 remaining single children 26 or under, onto an “Obamacare” medical plan because Tammy was the main breadwinner and carried their dependent children on her medical plan. That plan ended at the end of Oct. 2019 I think I heard, just days after her death.

What happened was when she put in Social Security numbers for Lori, and the children were missing and she was in jail, she inquired as to why Lori only needed medical insurance coverage when she had 2 minor children that were not going to be covered. She saw the Social Security scam within weeks or months of these things happening.

I really really really hate how Prior keeps saying "Okaayy" every time state witness answers his question. It sounds soooo pretentious, downgrading the person he is questioning, and it reminds me of people in life in general, that think that their "charm" 🤮will fix anything. Even Chad's lawyer is a narcissist. Go figure. What a bunch of disgusting people...how in a world you get so many of them, at the same place???!!

Prior keeps testifying and when a witness starts to speaks he cuts them off with "okay" and then starts testifying again!!!!

Not Tylee, JJ. Lori said she was in a custody battle with Kay, the grandmother. Not true. The grandparents were concerned because Lori had stated she did not want JJ anymore. Also, Lori stopped answering the phone and stopped letting them talk to JJ. They hired detectives snd spoke to the police about checking on JJ.

She sounds like salt of the earth sweet lady. Glad they were gullible enough to help with bail bc they would have lost thier home. So much damaged and death in Lori's past. Meeting Chad was the perfect storm of evil, greed and lust. I'll never understand why Lori was sexually attracted to a chubby, buzz cut, double chinned poorly dressed rural goober when Charles was physically fit, made $400k a year, ran his own business, stylish and handsome.

Honestly - at this point, the prosecution should stop presenting evidence. The defense cannot come back from what has been said and shown in testimony. There is no way this man didn't orchestrate these murders. What a repugnant narcissist.

So Monday Prior said it is a one story home but it has am addition that goes up a flight of stairs.the girl that was at the funeral said Tammy went upstairs to bed before Chad. I think Prior wanted to make the witness look like a liar about the stairs as well as the 2 differences in stories that Chad told at the funeral on her 2 times going thru the line at the casket with her father then her mother. Point is Chad told multiple stories on what time Tammy died and where he was when she passed. Whether it was upstairs is irrelevant.

And his bringing up Melanie Gibb with practically every witness. The jurors must be sick of his nonsense by now. I guess he doesn’t have anything else. Melanie didn’t know where the children were, it’s as if he searches for any possible killer except his client-it’s everybody else that’s guilty. Not even Lori or Alex get this treatment.

A lot of times he appears to pretend to type or write ✍🏼 something down, I assume he and Prior have questions written down on the legal pad, that he will sort of check off or something. It gives him something to hide behind, so he thinks. I know the laptop has the case including documents and photos as evidence. He did not show any emotion at all with photos of Tammy or JJ and Tylee after death. A non-psychopath would’ve been horrified and would need to look the other way or cry.

Lori looks just like Wanda Barzee now 😱

That nice lady couldn't even begin to comprehend the evil they were dealing with.

She was a great witness for the prosecution. She is sweet and sensitive older lady so sympathetic to the jury. She also comes across as very truthful. When she said Chad referred to Tylee in the past tense and the fact that Chad said Lori's daughter was dead was really impactful imo.
