I'll be honest, I really like his Pops man. Dude is a well rounded good Christian type of fella. Like the Good Samiratin kinda guy, I knew a guy like him growing up and he was well respected and admired by kids he always made sure things went well while you were with him. Shout out to Aces Dad.

I grew up with 3 brothers, and my Daddy took us fishing all the time. And I distinctly remember him (and all the other men in our family) teaching me that when you are Crappie fishing, you put a small weight (just enough to hold your line down in the water) on your line, put on a minnow, and drop it down until it's about 5 feet off the bottom, then you bob it up and down, and BAM, a Crappie will hit your line every time! At least Alabama Crappie do lol!! (All kidding aside, that's how we fish for Crappie here). We had Crappie fish fries for the entire campground we would catch so many.

Ace I bought your tackle box and have been slaying ... super convenient box by the way with how much is included at such a great price. I never caught fish on tubes before but on the purple tube I caught three bass in just an hour of fishing with my bro. He was getting skunked till I told him to tube up and the first cast after he put the green tube. he caught a smallie I’m taking my daughter tomorrow and we’re looking forward to catching us some dinner!

@@LoversIncMusic 4 and 11 for me. my 11 yr old has been fishing with me since he was 2.5 shore fishing, safe environment. got him ice fishing when he was 5 and he loves it. my 4 yr old lives with his mom and she doesn't make any effort to allow me to see him. it is what it is.

Ya know good thing about this covid pandemic is that i found this glorious channel, enjoy your content immensely specialy the ones with you and your bro and dad. i love fishing but unfortunately fishing in iceland in the rivers and such is almost completely fly fishing and expensive, and its mostly salmons in the rivers with some trouts and some places artic char but those two are more found in lakes as as far as i know only freshwater fish here are trouts and chars and the salmons in the summer. One lake here has brown trouts that were seafaring but gor trapped there after the last ice age and adapted they can be comminly around 20-30 pounds

Not sure how I missed THIS Ace Video, but…even though I’m 60, your pops reminds me of my dad, who passed 6-years ago too young! He was a Washington State Trooper, who lost his battle with cancer. My mother doesn’t like cooking fish and especially cuz she’s allergic to seafood but watching your videos has taught me how to cook seafood. So now I’m the one who cooks fish for me and my father, love the videos man keep it up.

I bought one also, it wasn’t good or bad I just thought it didn’t have enough flavor. But that’s just my opinion.

Thank you ace, you have been such an inspiration to me. I created a fishing channel for my baby brother and he loves it. On our first day we fished for five hours, caught 11 pike, and had 4 keepers, which the limit is 24 inches or larger.

Here in California we don't filet our perch😁 we score them on both sides and fry them whole baby.its so much better when you can fry them whole with the head on.thats the way my grand dad used to do it

Hey ace, you need to come down to Julian in California! My birthday is on the 27th and I am probobaly going camping at lake Quyamaca. They got some good trout, crappie, catfish, bass, and very very little carp. if you catch a carp you gotta kill it. I want to go there and catch some trout and crappie with my family so I can do a catch' n' cook with em. the trout here are real good. You need to come down here sometime this winter because the trout and crappie bite like crazy during winter they already stocked the lake with a bunch of trout. the vid was awesome I really enjoy watching your channel because you guys just go with the flow and are so calm, especially your dad. XD those fish looked real good. Useally my whole family goes to the trout fishing tournement there but since covid we can't rent a small house. So this year we hope we can rent a small cabin that the lake owns. my and my dad love to fish and my mom just loves being there because it is so beutifull! my favorite videos are the ones where you can only eat what you catch like on hawaii that one time, that was cool. Enjoy your day! My dad worked 20 yrs at the local textile mill. Then when it had a big layoff he went to work driving semi's and transporting steel from the mill to companies. He retired three years ago and a month after retirement I went over because I live in my grandparents homestead and my parents house is next door. My mom was killed in a head on car crash in 04' and my son was only 4mnths old. Anyway, I found my dad beside his bed alive but lost and lethargic. He had a massive stroke. 25% brain damage. But the docs couldn't believe it. He can drive and do almost everything. Only effects after a couple years is his right hand and his speech is just a little off. He went crappie fishing with my uncle two weeks before and fell on the pontoon boat. He like blacked out. I think it was a sign of the stroke fixing to happen. We aren't promised tomorrow so love your family and enjoy time together! God bless.
