Hey Ace, been working on oil platforms for 14 years now and we fish so much that it sometimes get boring. We usually work a 14/14 rotation out here in the gulf and we are out here more than we are at home. We catch red and mangrove snapper at my platform about an hour from grand isle. In September I went on my first deep sea trip on the gulf off an oil rig, most fun fishing I’ve ever had, we got up at 3 in the morning and the oil rig looked like a Christmas tree it was awesome. Brings back good memories to see more people do it. We were also like 60 miles out.
