FRIED CHICKEN Sandwich with Fermented Kimchi Pickles | Makin' It! | Brad Leone

We Clevelanded up with the folks at Cleveland Kitchen to bring you this hot tasty freshly-fried pickly tangy crunchy fried chicken sandwich with some zing zang sauce. DO TRY THIS AT HOME!
Some practical/safety tips on frying chicken:
✅ Put a lid or a sheet pan to cover your cast iron when you’re not frying stuff since the oil is spittin’ hot #safetyfirst!
✅ Use a thermometer in your oil to make sure it’s about 350 degrees
✅ The oil will lose some heat once you add the chicken, so keep watching the thermometer in case you need to turn it up
✅ After about 10 minutes, check to see if the bubbles in your oil have diminished a lot - that’s an indicator that the chicken is cooked through
✅ Use a meat thermometer to make sure your internal chicken temp is 📛165 degrees minimum📛 (you can’t really put the genie back in the frying pan)
Cleveland yourself on over to www.clevelandkitchen.com to check out what they have, and find the nearest grocery store that carries it.

I dont comment that often on KZread, but thank you Cleveland Kitchen and Brad for arranging this kind of very gentle and organic product placement. It totaly fit your style with the previous fermentation series on BA (anything like that palnned for this channel?) and didnt feel like a forced integration at all. I might not be from the US and unable to buy the product but still very much appreciate this kind of lowkey advertising. Much better than the wallet and vpn stuff everyone just immediatly skips

i disagree, i think the way they do sponsorships is kind of deceptive. i had no idea this was a paid promo until reading your comment. theyve been similarly under the radar about it in the past with the yeti stuff, but in that case with a global brand its easy to assume that they're paying for the spot. "cleveland kitchen" tho? i assumed he was just friends with a guy and wanted to talk about their stuff. if you are being paid by a company to advertise their product you have to clearly disclose that shit in the actual video, not just a little "teehee were good pals" in the description and content and ticking a box. im pretty sure that is not sufficient to comply with fcc rules, and personally i feel lied to.

@@Crokto Dunno if you watched the video, but after the grilled shrimp olive skewer Makin' it intro section theres a 4 second titlecard "Episode presented in Partnership with Cleveland Kitchen". Timestamp 0:40 . Also kinda naive to not see instantly, that when a "ususally-makes-everything-from-scratch" cook like brad talks this much about a singular product, that it's paid product placement. Let that man get his dough and be happy that he's not pushing the next pump&dump crypto to 12yo kids but some harmless pickles

@@simoneller5194 i am not unique in that i dont watch most youtube videos with my full attention, theyre almost always on a second screen or in the background. and i never criticized his choice of sponsors. thinking the overt yeti shoutouts werent sponsored would be naive. i dont think it would be that weird for him to use a friend's product in his videos though, that would be super in character. yeah he probably would have talked about it a bit differently but i didnt have my guard up, and the point of doing clear disclosure is so that everyone understands that its a paid promotion, because most people consume content with their guard down. thats part of why product integrations are a good advertising tool
