Friday The 13th: The Series - "The Inheritance" (1987) Pilot First Episode
Ойын-сауық
First aired on October 3, 1987 - Episode 1 of Season 1 - In this Pilot episode, two distant cousins, Ryan Dallion and Micki Foster, inherit an antiques shop from their uncle. Together with his partner, they must track down cursed objects that their devil-worshiping uncle had created. The first object is a demonic killer doll.
An old antique dealer made a pact with the Devil to sell cursed antiques. When he dies, his store is inherited by his niece Micki Foster (played by Louise Robey) and her cousin Ryan Dallion (played by John D. LeMay). With the help of Jack Marshak (played by Chris Wiggins), they fight to retrieve the antiques from the people who bought them to stop them from causing harm. The series ran for three seasons, from October 3, 1987, to May 26, 1990, in first-run syndication.
Despite this title of the series, it has no story connections to the film series of the same title, as Jason Voorhees does not make an appearance, nor does any character connected to the films.

This was one of my favorite things to watch when I was in my teens 😅... IDK what made me think of it but I love that I remembered it... There was another show similar to this one but I don't remember the name of it... It's about two guys and they would hunt down evil objects and take them... Hmmm dang it!

I love this series so much, my mama and I would watch every episode together whenever it was on TV during the times when it was brand new and new episodes were premiering. Then years after the cancellation, we would still sit back and watch the reruns of the series whenever they were on whichever network, we still watch the episodes and never get tired of all the episodes of this series. This was Cabin in the Woods before Cabin in the Woods, the premise of the series was just perfect.
Thank you!! I have been scouring the internet for this series. Thank you!
Yes please, give the other episodes.
The girt that Keeps on giving !! 😂😂 Reminds me of Saturday afternoons when I was a kid watching this on Syndcated TV..
We need the other episodes

One of the best, I hearty agree... would be the best save for Tales from the Dark Side.,. sorry, I'm a fan of George A Romero
They managed to find a suitably evil looking little girl for the part.

1987 was a good year
this show was made in my hometown Toronto Ontario.
Scary as ever. Love it.
I loved Micki!!
To me, this was a great take on the supernatural anthology series. A binding overall narrative, where each episode touched on the different sins that powered the cursed antiques. I do think that they should have explored more on why Uncle Louis broke the pact, as it had to have been more than just not wanting to give the girl the doll. Though, I admit that what helped was that in my neck of the woods, they aired this on Friday night.. and at midnight EST.
Great movie seen it a long time ago thank you for sharing too bad it was a little less dark to be able to see the picture a little better❤
Sarah Polley was in the PILOT! She's the little girl.. This is 17 years before Dawn of the Dead (2004).

I was so hurt when it disappeared
I loved this show. God bless my grampa, gone for many years, he would let me watch anything when I stayed at his and grandma's house. He loved spooky shows and horror. I was his youngest grandkid and I was gifted so I understood a lot more at my age. My mom treated me like a baby but grampa and dad gave me my live for horror. This is a great show, but was from '87-90, so has been done to death. But for us GenX folks a trip down memory lane.
love this as a teen

What's the point of wealth when you had no friends and family to share it with. Old louis should have thought more!
