Thanks for watching Andrew. I really don't understand how they stay in business, for a professional that uses the tools every day I might start to understand the value.. Maybe? but for a normal guitar player to pay 100 bucks for a file??? If I'm ever that brain-dead just unplug the machines. Hahahaha! Really though I grew up poor, I'm still poor I cant do it and if I could I wouldn't. It takes all kinds though I need those perfectionists to buy that stuff so I can get it at thriftstores, yard sales, marketplace and pawnshops in 20 years. If everyone was a cheap SOB like me the economy would grind to a halt.

Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave this positive comment Sean. Awesome! Yeah they are also very useful for making finish chip repairs, buffing out scratches and polishing metal parts etc... All in one progressive sanding kit with a polisher. I feel like they should be marketed and sold for many applications... Its like the UV resin stuff for nails, thats basically the same stuff dentists build and fix teeth with that stuff is incredibly useful too. Instant curing epoxy with an infinite working time.

Those fingernail buffing things are the best for polishing frets on the cheap . Banged these frets in with the backside of a ball peen hammer. I love it . I saw that most powerful humbucker video and now I’m hooked on these videos I like the diy approach you actually perform the experiments I think about in my jumbled mind. Now put a rail humbucker and a lower output single coil in the a single HB pick up ring in a bridge only Strat type barreta thing , I want to achieve a passable clean sound out of a single HB metal AF guitar but have a fatter clean tone. The nail buffer is the best fret eraser you can swipe from your wife/girlfriend/ person who does their nails that you know and the best part is they’re free , my wife keeps buying them and they cost me nothing lol

Thank you Guitar Grader. I will try to remember to link email in the future and I'm currently setting up a business phone system. Its hard to answer your question without feeling like an A-hole. I'm afraid I just don't have the shop space finished and set up to make guitars efficiently at this time... and even when I do I'm not really planning on making replicas or custom orders. The idea I'm going for is Art. A 100% 1 off guitar down to the pickups. I will make them all unique 1 of a kind using reclaimed antique wood and then offer them for sell as is and if no one wants them it wont bother me at all. I'll have the only one in the world. I apologize if that seems like a crappy answer but I just know my goals and limitations at this time. But thank you so much for all the support on the channel I really appreciate it especially with the fact that you yourself run a more successful guitar channel. That is really awesome.

I just did a fret sanding down and recrowning and I just had to hold my nose and hope for the best. I purchased the guitar 16 years ago and gave up on playing thanks to this guitar but I have incentive now with age. See, this Fender Squire always had a horrible fret job from Indonesia. I mean so many of them never sat properly and you can't even bang them in to sit properly so I had no choice. Spend 400-500 dollars on a refret, or buy a 250 dollar neck that will need a fret job of 100 OR just say fuck it and attempt it myself. I figured at worst I would destroy and keep it as spare parts then buy an off brand 200-300 USD guitar. At best it would work. Well, the sanding was a bitch but not nearly what the crowning was. In the end I don't think I want to do it again but this guitar now plays better than it ever did. Maybe if I had Stewmac kind of money I would do it again with ease but a 2x4 sanding block, and a 1x2 sanding block, and an 18 USD crowning tool did an alright job. Used some 800 grit to remove the crowning scratches and hit it with my Dremel + Poliushing Wheel + Polishing compound. Frets were never this shiny. Here is the thing but I have watched a lot of vids before I attempted this and none of them ever managed to get the original dome shape back it always had a flat top. I figure the next time I would do this I would buy a pack of frets, a hammer, a proper 9.5in radius block, and go after it. Just using this to learn to play with but the jazz tones it produces is sweet.
