What a great video. You can't almost smell those amazing aromas as you tend to the grill. Watching the taste test makes my mouth water in anticipation of the flavor sensations you describe. Awesome job.

I love rabbit, but it's been 20+ years since I've eaten it. Just got 5 rabbits this last weekend to start my own rabbitry, and that pile of juicy smoked rabbit is the very image I've had in my mind for a long time. The last rabbit I ate, I marinated it 24 hrs in a seasoned mayo/mustard based mixture and grilled over mesquite--a recipe I still use for chicken, and I love how the mayo acts as a fat layer for the meat. I don't think people who haven't tried rabbit understand what they are missing out on! Thanks for sharing.

Haven’t never had rabbit that way but sounds good! We either fry or cook it in a rabbit and mushroom soup slow for about a hr or two. Just falls off bone and makes a great gravy for mashed potatoes!

We tried raising rabbit, but Hubby said he didn't like it anymore, he uses to eat them when he was younger. I had never tried it until we did our own. I found out I didn't like it so we decided not to continue raising them. I'm sure yours were tasty though. Thanks for the video.

Just soaked for hour or so to make them burn slower. They are hickory. YUM!
