They are basically, the Black Major, Baron Iron Blood and the Red Shadows from the original Action Force !!!

Look up Action Force Red Shadows. They are doing their take on that old 80s toy line in England/Europe. They are actually canon to GIJOE also. Fresh Monkey Fiction also just now released their 3.75" inch figures of some of these same figures. Joe fans and Action Force fans are loving it.

Josh spitting facts today. To piggy back on his critiques. You guys know how I feel. Doesn’t look like much articulation. FMF articulation, articulation, articulation. That’s my critiques. Also, Jean some of these figures are a nod wink at old school Action Force figures. Check that out on google. I like the story but I think they need to do better with how these figures will be able to be posed. I’m not a fan of just the aesthetics of a figure. It. We’d to be able to look like it is moving etc etc.

Yeah, I get Josh’s points. I’m actually intrigued by these. I love the attempt to tie this into Eagle Force and Operation Monster Force lore. Clever. [🔌Look out for my (long) prerecorded N.E.W.S. episode on June 23 with the Toyleet guys…we talk through this line, GI Joe, Action Force, FIST, and others and kinda cover the Fresh Monkey lore connections and evolution of MILITARY DOLLS in general. /🔌] And as @Ray Paz pointed out, there’s a strong connection to Palitoy Action Force characters from back in the day. I also dig the sculpts, at least as rendered digitally. I think there’s a lot of fun design work happening. My big critique is what Ray said. I wonder about the articulation on these. They really ought to at least match Classifieds, which move really well. But articulation isn’t a priority for everyone, so it’s not a deal breaker for many collectors. Most people vanilla pose and display their stuff. For me, I prefer figs that can move, but tolerate ones that don’t if they aesthetically or creatively bring something to the table. Most action figures have plenty of articulation…we’re not talking Kenner Star Wars here. For me, they don’t all have to be Figuarts or AWOK, and I’d take a gorgeous figure with poseable limits over an ugly contortionist. Balance and case by case until the point where all companies raise the floor to something like a Jada Street Fighter figure. Until then tho, I’ll take a limited-in-articulation-by-modern-gold-standards Super7 Ultimates or Four Horsemen fig if it’s sexy. I’m shallow. 😂
