Mcfarlane toys one is way better
They are basically, the Black Major, Baron Iron Blood and the Red Shadows from the original Action Force !!!
Yeah. Its called inflation..
Word. Thanks for the shout out. You guys rawk. I think JoyToy did their thing, but they seem to have also incorporated some The Next Mutation in there with the white forearm and ankle wraps, knee and shoulder pads, etc. But yeah...they let JoyToy cook, and clearly TMNT fans will eat every little morsel from the TMNT all-you-can-eat buffet of toys. Now grow a pair and give us Venus de Milo. 🤪
It's EXPENSIVE! And I'm a TVC collector
I bought the deluxe one. I only bought one because it is costly like you both said. I like it and think this could get better if this gets funded. There could be details they may not had been able to add in time of the announcement. Once the box gets revealed that will be even better. This set is actually cheaper to buy than buying individual pieces made by custom 3D model pieces. Just my humble opinion. I really hope this gets funded.
You are correct on the price. There is a video showing the cost of replicating w/o cups. Def more expensive to piece out vs the Haslab.
@@ninobrown5110 over the years I've probably have paid a few hundred just for the current bar and tables that Hasbro included with the figures along with a cutout cardboard background for the bar. I'm glad it got funded. Just hope more people buy it to get even more figures.
Also the two pack with Joker and pinching
Alf looks great
I’m really curious to see how those Ben Cooper figures are under the costumes. Great concept. The post-apoc Interceptor is my pick of the week. Gorgeous. 💥WITNESS ME!!! 📢
It’s not my thing but i hope it funds for those that want it. It looks like it will. It’s got a least two weeks left and it’s more than half way there. If you look at past Haslabs. They funding comes the last push
Top 3 4 Me Deluxe Knight Builder Goblin 2 pack Iosef, Kai, Gold Skeleton 2 all tie for third
"Boomers" don't care about Star Wars or toy collecting. LOL. They are 60-80 years old today.
Ok Boomer 😂
@@thecollectingbrothers A Boomer is someone who was born right after WW2 . Most 65 to 80 year olds dont collect toys, sorry but this is a fact.
Boomers are anyone born during these years. 1952 to 1966. Yep, 15 year increments.
@@holonet1 if you want to be exact 1945 to 1964
@@maddrop You got it.
It’s important to note that the 3 base figures are all new sculpts and exclusive to the Haslab with no future plans of rerelease. Small batch figures like these are extremely expensive to produce, these aren’t $16 each like a large scale mainline release. These are more around $50 each figure and that’s what it’ll cost Hasbro to produce especially if doesn’t get enough backers to unlock tiers. Looking at it from that perspective it’s $150 of figures and the rest is the cantina. The more backers the more they get from the mold the less it costs per figure but you also begin to unlock additional figures adding more value per dollar.
True you can look it like that because you could probably sell the figs for 50 or more to recoup some of your money.
@@thecollectingbrothers Well the aftermarket value of the figs would be much higher than $50 I would say upwards for $200+ aftermarket value for each of the tonnikas. I meant it would cost Hasbro around $40-50 to produce each figure of the tonnikas and wuhur if say only 8k-10k people back it. New molds are extremely expensive to produce and if the mold is limited to a Haslab they aren’t gonna make the same amount of production out of it like a mainline release to be able to afford selling at $16. If it hits all tiers (I doubt it) then the cost per figures on the tonnikas and wuhur goes way lower but we’ll get more figs for the same price. Hasbro will make back some more money from the tier molds when they rerelease those later on but keeping the tonnikas and wuhur exclusive to the Haslab.
At this price point they should have included a floor/Base and at least 1-2 more figures for the base model. To me the project looks unfinished. $100-$200 less for the Haslab and It would of been funded by now. At this pace with 18 days left, I don't think it will reach 8,000 backers let alone any of the tiers. It seems the project is only going up 100-200 backers a day at this point. Gonna need a lot of last-minute orders to push this project over the line.
We will see usually last day we do see that Fomo surge.
The details on the tables and chairs are movie accurate. What did you want, upscale IKEA furniture ?
Maybe just a wash or something. Bring out all the details
The beehive hairdo lol
Haha your right it does look like that good call 😂
I was gonna pass, but now... Ha. I'm not into the human head, but that hat? Hellz yeah.
Yeah insane texture and sculpt on it.
I'm really liking those Spin Masters PlayStation figures. Hopefully they make some of the creatures to go with those games.
They look promising. That would be cool to get creatures.
Operation: Monster Force is lookin SOLID. Can’t wait to see our friends’ coverage from JOEfest.
25 bucks a year later at ross 😂😂😂😂
Insane
It’s a 10-figure wave. I wouldn’t consider that a “half wave”.
The one piece Luffy do you know if it’s on big bad toys or entertainment toys for pre-order?
Yes BBTS has it up for pre-order
Another great show guys
Thank you Bree!
That's new
Amen
I love this set
It’s 🔥
1stoptoyshop is the best!
True dat
Wow that was not sorted right for the same customer.. major fail
Hopefully we do
Look up Action Force Red Shadows. They are doing their take on that old 80s toy line in England/Europe. They are actually canon to GIJOE also. Fresh Monkey Fiction also just now released their 3.75" inch figures of some of these same figures. Joe fans and Action Force fans are loving it.
Thanks for the info will check it out.
Yeah, I get Josh’s points. I’m actually intrigued by these. I love the attempt to tie this into Eagle Force and Operation Monster Force lore. Clever. [🔌Look out for my (long) prerecorded N.E.W.S. episode on June 23 with the Toyleet guys…we talk through this line, GI Joe, Action Force, FIST, and others and kinda cover the Fresh Monkey lore connections and evolution of MILITARY DOLLS in general. /🔌] And as @Ray Paz pointed out, there’s a strong connection to Palitoy Action Force characters from back in the day. I also dig the sculpts, at least as rendered digitally. I think there’s a lot of fun design work happening. My big critique is what Ray said. I wonder about the articulation on these. They really ought to at least match Classifieds, which move really well. But articulation isn’t a priority for everyone, so it’s not a deal breaker for many collectors. Most people vanilla pose and display their stuff. For me, I prefer figs that can move, but tolerate ones that don’t if they aesthetically or creatively bring something to the table. Most action figures have plenty of articulation…we’re not talking Kenner Star Wars here. For me, they don’t all have to be Figuarts or AWOK, and I’d take a gorgeous figure with poseable limits over an ugly contortionist. Balance and case by case until the point where all companies raise the floor to something like a Jada Street Fighter figure. Until then tho, I’ll take a limited-in-articulation-by-modern-gold-standards Super7 Ultimates or Four Horsemen fig if it’s sexy. I’m shallow. 😂
Cool didn’t know about the origins that makes it more interesting for me. No please no super 7😂
Josh spitting facts today. To piggy back on his critiques. You guys know how I feel. Doesn’t look like much articulation. FMF articulation, articulation, articulation. That’s my critiques. Also, Jean some of these figures are a nod wink at old school Action Force figures. Check that out on google. I like the story but I think they need to do better with how these figures will be able to be posed. I’m not a fan of just the aesthetics of a figure. It. We’d to be able to look like it is moving etc etc.
True to compete with everyone you have to have good articulation. Thanks will search it up
Jesus meme
😂
I have not been on long but I did notice the lack luster & reuse of this wave but I don’t think it’s the end
Lot of reuse but the new wave in the fall should be where we get spoiled.
Im sure the reason they didn’t is because they want to try to keep it “accurate” to the movie and give her a similar body.
Makes sense
Damn straight you need Xue. (My tribute fig, “xue” is Mandarin for “brick”. Swear.)
Nice Xuesomething
Great show
Thanks Bree 💜
Need that Bossk.
It’s a good figure besides the elbow articulation which sucks

shinra tensei !!!
My pick is the Mafex Rogue. They are all head swaps. I love this figure. I also have to agree with Jean , the smirk head sculpt was unnecessary. Mafex should have come up with something original for this figure.
Thanks for the knowledge should have come with normal hair.
New to figure collecting. Do they do these mystery things often?
No this is actually the first time maybe we will see another one in the future.
That guitar solo 🔥🤘
