Spaniards try to emulate (a little) the French pronunciation, because we see these brands in television advertisements and it sounds better for everyone. If we kept our pronunciation we would say Yves Saint Laurent or Givenchy in a very worst way 😂

Ana's "r" in these words is strong like italian and spanish because of the accent of where she's from but in some places of brazil the "r" would be close to the french one. Interesting, we do also have different accent about "R" here in Indonesia. it might not be too obvious from ana's pronunciation but the french 'r' is actually very very common in brazilian portuguese. she's from são paulo so usually they do either the "italian r" or the retroflex r (kinda like american english r) but other parts of brazil use french r quite naturally

I think Elita did well representing how we Indonesians would pronounce these brands. It’s either we try to pronounce them with our own spelling, or we would attempt the English versions but still with our own accent. There would be a small minority of people who try to pronounce them in French, but this is super rare. Even the actual people who are loyal costumers of these branded items would assume that the English pronunciations are the correct ones. Try to correct their pronunciation and they wouldn’t believe you 😂

Very beautiful and cute video, in terms of phonetics, speech and pronunciation, of the European languages of the Romance branch of the most popular and well-known across the globe, I see French as the most difficult in this aspect, it is a magical, artistic language in fact, when you you think you're sure you're saying the right pronunciation, the native comes and shows you how far away you are 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭. It is a playful language made for arts, games and sports, fashion, gastronomy, full of allophony, the opposite of the logic of language and actually healthy linguistics. Beautiful video about fashion and French brands, kisses on the hearts of all the girls on the channel, hugs.
In Spain, the Carolina Herrera comercials also say "cawolina hawawa" as if it was elegant to have so much accent that nobody can understand what you said.
