Actually, you're right! it pretty affordable but after that they will install their list of their restrictions. That's why they sell it to foreign investors.

You are right, A Castle needs very much money, Actor Nicolas Cage got in ruin by buying castles, he never thought in costs, unless you want an old HOTEL, it is ok, but just for fun you have to be a billionaire.

Its not that I can't afford a place like this. Its all the dusting & mowing involved puts me off. All those window-ledges, all those lawns, all those hedges to clip. Such a responsibility.Its a sweet place otherwise & in a very nice area.

The problem is that France has high taxes. That along with strict government rules on historical properties and their reconstruction it hinders investors.

This place has been my dream, since I first saw it some years ago. I cried, for she was still lovely as ever!

I've been watching this place for the last 4 years or so. It's been up since 2010. Someone has most likely already bought it, and has done the work on it. When I first saw it, it was like a dream I'd had. And, it looks an awful lot like the painting I have in my living room, called "Flowered Doorway" by Cyrus Afsary. If I had the means, I would want to buy this place and restore it. I think it deserves that!

Well I wouldn't worry so much about getting the money to buy this place. It is the upkeep and maintenance costs which would kill you. When you see plats growing out of brickwork you know you are in trouble.

Why don't you realtors ever put price in your videos???

The Kitchen was shown. It's just not a modern kitchen. If that's what you would want, you would have to put it all in yourself. I love the old kitchens. Some of us still know how to cook in one.
