Yeah my 2013 Cascadia has been doing this on the fuel gauge & def light. Too many bumpy roads I think. Needle goes to empty & green def goes red and comes back again. Happens going down the road and even at idle. Sometimes I get a little red/yellow flash on the fuel gauge and also the back light on the gauge face goes dark at times too. To get it to behave for a bit I give the fuel gauge a light smack with my palm. Works for a little while. I've opened the back and tried to move the wires in the back but couldn't narrow it down. Fransisco, the harness you changed was more towards the RPM gauge. Do u think this may be my culprit or maybe a bad fuel gauge or the wires going to the fuel gauge? Gracias hermano.

I had a driver throw his clipboard on top of the dash and ended up breaking the speedometer lense. At the same time it hit the needle. Now the needle drops below the 0 mph mark upon reset and is 7 MPH off. i've tried moving the needle back to 0 mark but when key cycles, it goes right back. Is there anyway to recalibrate/fix the speedometer without replacing the $1100 cluster?

Having this problem in a 2016 cascadia where the gauges aren't working but then work just fine. I also get a RAC system failure warning and the engine brake when engaged stutters on and off Do you think the wires or the whole dash circuit board could be the problem 🤔

Que se puede hacer con fuel gauge en un cascadia 2014 cuando lleno los tankes marca bien lleno al 100% pero baja muy rapido al 3/4 y cuando la aguja esta hasta el fondo todavia tienen los tankes como 50 gals. Hey can you please point me in right direction with voltage gauge, fuel gauge pressure on my classic. 1. Fuel gauge works fine if my fan is off but as soon as i turn my fan on fuel gauge starts falling off. 2. Voltage gauge- it keeps on showing fluctuations between 12.5 to 13.9 or maybe hits 14 or above once in a while. Oil Pressure gauges shows fluctuations too. I’m assuming maybe a short circuit or something somewhere. I just needs someone to point me in right direction or where to start from. (Detroit 2008 fully deleted) alternator wiring cleaned all the way. And motor has new sensor Harness and injector harness. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Hi I've been having a problem with my truck with the voltage meter on the dash it goes from 14 volts to 11 volts it does this offend throughout the day usually if I hit a bump or something it'll correct itself do you think I need to replace the wires things I need an answer I've been dealing with this for a year now

Edward G. What was your solution? I was on the road yesterday coming home and the speedometer just stopped working. Haven’t checked on today to see if it’s working again

2014 Automatic cascadia dd13 day cab I was driving 55 mph Right top air gauge drop normal to zero, then after 10 minutes did againg after I drove one hour no problem. What happend to drop zero to normal my brake was good I applied brake fine. Thanks for your information

Probably te rear wiring is bad.

That is a very common part, freightliner dealer should have it. Well, the easiest way to get them is by taking a sample to show because some guys at dealer don't like to research for the new part number if the computer doesn't show it.

Well I have a 2012 Freightliner cascadia my cluster doesn't work I bought a new Custer and it still doesn't work what could be the problems I have 2 plugs behind there that has a lot of wires in each of them I cannot see where it starts from just where it ends

francisco una pregunta mi cluster es identico al de este video, le agrege 2 relojes uno para temperatura de aceite de motor y otra para el turbo, la de el aceite travaja bien pero la de el turbo no, la pregunta es necesita ser programado el cluster para que le de lectura a el reloj de el turbo?

SAME THING HAPPENED TO MY 2014 CASCADIA. AC IS NOT BLOWING COOL AIR. OIL GAUGE ,DEF GAUGE, WATER GAUGE ARE DOWN PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF REPLACING THIS WIRE WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM. MUCHISIMAS GRACIAS

Hey Francisco i gave 2014 cascadia its been doin same thing oil pressure gauge , rpm speed gauge stops working and working Some time check engine and abs light comes on so i opened the dashto look at it it has only two big wires coming in to cluster there is no small jumper wires. I cleaned all the connections to cluster and cpc still having problem. So can you guess what it could be ?

I have this problem truck will not start and the gauges will stop in the middle and the DEF light is red and blinking. After couple of times or disconnected battery will start. do you know what could be this issue?

Build air to the max. Turn the truck off, and you should be able to Hera the leak

Hello Francisco, I did engine Tune up ( valves adjustment) Clean my DPF Change Delta Port sensor Oil change All filter (except water separator because still ok) Change fuel rail seal and gasket It seems I’m still getting the same MPG! No different from before. It’s DD15 Cascadia Evolution 2015. About 586543 miles. Is this normal? Don’t I should be getting better performance and MPG?? Appreciate any input Sir🙏🏼

The fuel injectors performance and turbo performance are the main reason of a good or bad MPG. Problems like Turbo pressure leak Low turbo pressure Low engine compression Bad fuel injection Etc,..

It is possible.

Power distribution module on firewall defective can also cause this issue.

Pnd with cutoff switch? I had this replaced, and everything worked well for about 3000 miles and now its glitching again. Gonna try this harness next

You are going to the wrong shops then. Its a simple process of elimination. Especially in the older truck where its not multiplexed.
