Freight trains around Victoria #2
In this video we see various freight trains at various locations around suburban Melbourne and the Geelong line. This video is a compilation of previously uploaded clips recorded in 2011 and 2012, and were among some of the earliest clips that I recorded for this KZread channel. Trains seen include the Apex quarry train and Long Island steel train operated by Pacific National, and a couple of intermodals operated by Pacific National and SCT Logistics. Some locations visited include Aircraft, Lara, Flinders Street and more!
(and yes I'm still in the process of working on Freight Trains around Victoria #3 which will entirely have new footage, but no ETA of when it will be out)

Whoever preserved X37 is a genius.
I also saw that one of the x class locomotives has a horn in its front engine box (or whatever it’s called).

@2:39 pacific national NR1 was the locomotive that pulled the overland train that I rode on last year!

There were a number of enthusiasts at Lara that day, some of whom knew the driver and told him that we were waiting here, hence the long and glorious horn show :D
