I just love taking these trips up and down the canals with you, thank you for taking us along. I certainly enjoyed the trip, the raising and lowering of the locks, looked pretty deep too. The last clip reminded me of taking a boat down Bratch staircase locks on the Staffs & Worc years ago, we were also towing a dingy which filled up from the overflow from the last gate and we just made it out before it sunk, all good fun. Lo bro an sis, I remember going up that staircase lock when we were kids, I leant over the lock gate and me 10p peice that I was saving to buy a choccy bar fell out of me shirt pocket into the bleeding lock, no choccy for me that week..lol.....loves ya. Xxxx

O Boy has this one brought back fond memories. My wife and I along with my cousin and her husband, had our very first canal holiday on this section of the Llangollen canal. We started at Bunbury Locks and spent our first night just about half a mile from the Hurlstone Locks. The Swanley-Bridge Marina didn't exist then. It was great to see Wrenbury basin again. We had a meal in the Cotton arms and the following night at the Willeymoor Lock Tavern before winding just before the staircase locks at Grindeley Brook and heading back to Bunbury Locks.
