Lilly: You videos are great. Very entertaining, but why are they always so short? The longer the better, in my opinion.
Gotta tell you how happy I am my daughter found your videos. At 15 she wanted a Bug out bag for her B-day and Christmas. Now 16 the bag is getting full. But the best part is she wants to do a couple yrs in the Air Force before college. Most of our time together is spent building shelters and bush crafting. We leave shelters everywhere we go now and hear about them being still up now and then. Keep up the sillieness, we laugh right along with you.

Wow, how sappy.
Lily: to get the most power/force from your hatchet (this goes for a hammer, as well) it is advised to grip the handle closer to the end than the middle as I see in your videos. This grip is definitely a skill to master since it changes the feeling of "control". There are times when power/force is most applicable. With all the dexterity you already have, this will not take you long to learn. I hope you will give this a try. You will not regret it when you give over more of the "work" to the tool itself. This was a beautiful video.
This is so awesome!!! Brought a huge smile to my face.. you rock! Thank you

i asked my father yesterday after watching your vids 'what is the difference between Austrian and German' he told me there is no any. it is just like Serbian and Montenegrin and Bosnian(serbs). same language same people same faith different countries(today) but not tomorrow :)
Tip from an old 'packer...leave a supply of firewood inside the shelter when you depart, it could be a life-saver when it's dark and you're cold and wet.

Good idea. You really don't want to work up a sweat before a cold night's sleep.
Absolutely loved the video, especially because we get to see you laughing and having fun again. Don't get me wrong, I like your serious and professional vids but I just like these so much more. You two have great chemistry and need to keep making videos together. BTW, I am really jealous of your snow. Here in Wisconsin we've been having a lousy winter so far. Little snow but lots of rain and ice!
Great video, part 2 was even better :) Love you guys together !!!
learning a lot from you Survival Lilly, keep up the hard work. I look forward to the next video
This reminds me of the saying "firewood warms you three times. Once when you cut down the tree, once when you split the wood and finally when you burn it."
Had to really laugh out loud when lilly did the "dumb and dumber"-test on the tomahawk XD.
Out of all the videos I have watched this is the best one. Its nice to see you sweat from working so hard but you definitely had a smile on your face.
What i like about you, Lilly, is that you get out there, in the woods, awesome. Great saw too. You are an inspiration.
Stay warm and safe Lilly. We love you. GOD Bless. Great channel.
Excellent video Lilly! A little departure from your typical Style. This was really great, informative and entertaining! love the equipment too really nice axes and I love that vintage shovel 👍
Wow....that's a lot of work in a short time. Love Lilly's wood splitting.
Nice. Well done. Nice to see even more good axe work in the channel. The moment when finding and approaching ones shelter like that in the snow really made me remember the feeling. Glad to hear that early "we really have to start working", a proof of experience and ability. Glad both had some fun time.
Lilly, this video was phenomenal. You and PG have a really charming team dynamic.
Good video, looked cold, but beautiful country. You two were having a really good time.
Great video I watched both parts! All the best, Dawn
Awesome first part Lily. That snow is deep ur snow shoeing through. Enjoy ur videos
OK, now THAT was a really fun video. You guys looked like you were having a blast. Love to see all the laughter!
I ended up watching part 2 before part 1 lol Great edit! Looks like you two had a great time camping :)
Thats some pretty good snow. You look like your really enjoying it. Please more videos like this.
Great video, Lily. Keep 'em coming.
Enjoyed watching this a lot! Keep the good work up!
Enjoyed this one. Surviving the cold really shows your skills.
Damn. I Loved this video. Lilly, you're of the best on YT doing this stuff along with PostapocalypticGarage too. Both very different styles and focuses but both outdoor driven and done very well. The editing skills are certainly worth a big mention too, (slow mo's use is spot on, too cool). Great job guys, excellent camp also by the way. Jeff
Hey Lilly! I love your videos! 😍
Watching a lot of your videos now.... love them. I also love the music you chose for this one!!!!
You guys make a great team. Keep up the good work :o)
I love your channel.keep up the great work!
My favourite part was just how excited Lilly was
That guy with the axe is out of control - 3:52 - my grandad lost half his left thumb doing exactly that! Do not put your hand/fingers in harm's way, while swinging an axe like a mad man!
I wonder if they are going to be the first hardcore bushcraft couple on KZread

Great video. So happy you have a saw that works and a hatchet that works. So many of these wildness/campers videos people do not have the right equipment to cut and split wood. For some crazy reason they thinks every camp chore can be done with a big knife
Saving this to watch in the heat of summer!
Im so glad to be in a warm house right now... ;-)
Super Epic Survival Lilly! That looks awesome!!
Awesome video series on so many levels. Really awesome Lilly. Need more like this! 🌲🌲🔥👸👦
hi, the CRKT is my favorit outdoor/garden tool, Lilly, you should lock your snowshoes while cuting wood ot around camp, falling may become a bad thing in the wilderness.
Thank you for This channel,I wish I could go places like that,I love the Cold weather, DIFFIANTELY Can't TAKE The Hot Weather, Literally makes me sick, Health Wise that is!!I can endure the Cold with the Clothing 😊😊, MANN I FEAL AS THOUGH I'm RIGHT THERE WITH THEM!!,I HAVE A GREAT IMAGINATION!! Again thank you for the update!!👍👍
Love your videos! Looks really cold in your woods ! Here in the mountains of Virginia we have had record temperatures in the 70s not right ! Global warming ! Have fun Lilly see you on your next adventure ! 😊
I have not watched this channel in a year I'm glad to be back to the great content
super nice!! I love it !
You guys make a great survival team and can chop wood fast! Cheers!
looking through old videos lilly . like your friends hair cut . merry christmas
Beautiful scenery and very cool video. You are often imitated, but there's only one Survival Lilly!
Long hike and deep snow, very tiring I'm sure! Looks like a lot of fun! You gotta get a silky saw Lilly. Thanks for the video!!
you remind me of when i was a young boy i would go to the woods with my daisy pump my dads marine packs an canteen stay all day with my cocker spanual we would loved it i did not find out till a few years ago that a was part cherokee. my grand father was full blood. anyway life happened i never got to go back i am out of shape now an almost 70. because of u i have started to the jim. mabe some day i can enjoy a little of what you do. who knows, i have bought a compound bow an am pretty good with it, i am from nashville tennesse. thank you , you have just extended my life a little
I really recommend the larger Silky saws (like the Big Boy 360). Great for medium logs.
Stay warm and safe LILLY. We love you. Great channel.

That is so cool to see you guys working as a team!
Nice to see you find a nice partner on your side, and i he loves to work that is a good thing, keep them coming
Oh shit! Is that Jasper Pääkkönen from Vikings?
thank Lily you've been a great inspiration for me. I am too, big in being reliant on nature.
I "Liked" your video even before watching it! I LOVE videos like this! :-) Thank you Lilly!!
Lilly we ( me and my daughter ) want to see you travel the "Otzi " route thru the Alps with as close as possible to the same gear that he took with him every day, or so it seems . I think that would be a great adventure to follow. Take a friend as a backup if necessary but make the atempt to duplicate his path with the homade bow quiver and arrows also the stone knife and copper hatchet and grass cloak/shelter. Please give it a thought !
Oh...my dear lilly....I love your wonderful videos...and I learnt many things from them especially how to make a fire in the wilderness...
That is the life!
Fantastisch und richtig viel Schnee! Super Video und Musi! Beste Grüße, Sepp
Cool! He's real good with that axe!
Sounds like a Clint Eastwood spaghetti western. Good video.
viewing this one now. this is cool there is another person joining you here. you are truly talented Lilly. :) 100%
lilly, keep doing what you'r doing. im doing the same thing for 20 years.
He (or She) who cuts their own wood is twice warmed!!
I like the Spaghetti Western music.
Hi Lilly Another great video thanks for sharing. I was wondering if you have done a video on camp hygiene that shows which plants etc are good to forage for to make soap toothpaste etc Thanks Brett
Nicely done!
You guys are legendary. hahaha Regarding Lokkas' hat comment (that thread derailed so I'm making my own! lol) I agree with Lilly that Vikings don't need hats. ;) (My family on my dad's side is Danish.) But actually, folks who haven't done this sort of winter trek and the hard work afterwards would be surprised how warm you can get from all that activity. Every time I go out cross-country skiing I've removed hat and outer jacket long before the end of the trip.
Such beauty of mountains
PAG is a great camping partner. Working machine!!!!!! Great video Lilly - hardcore camping for sure!!!!!!!!!!
I have to visit the Austrian Alps someday. The landscape is incredible.
Lol. Cracking me up with the tongue on metal 😝 It's more fun to stick the tongue on a beer can. Cool tunes too.
Man, that is one beautiful place. I am so in awe of those mountains and that awesome looking forest. You guys are some working machines, and that is a very nice splitting axe. What kind of axe is that green one?
The landscape is so magnificent forest and snow !!!!! Winter is serious there.

That was great Lilly but tell me that was enjoyable. That tomahawk would be something the Vikings would be proud of.
Yall are a very impressive team!!!
The scenery is beautiful.👍👍❤️❤️
I see that you apply the basic technique of "if I lick it, I own it" , best stuff ever!
CRKT (Colorado River Knife & Tool). GREAT knives and implements. Enjoyed it.
Good job on processing firewood , looks like good tools you had to work with .. I kinda like your new Tomahawk , looks like a useful tool out in the forest....
nice vid. beautiful scenery
sehr unterhaltsam. danke lilly!
I see you replaced your four legged companion with a two legged one, hope the dog is still healthy and hyperactive as ever. love your videos
I recently got the same crkt hatchet. I really like it .
Real winter adventure!:)
One bit of advice I was taught while hiking through limbs and brush. Don't let branches and limbs swing back towards your hiking partner. The branches can strike your fellow hiker in the face or eyes. Learned that in the Boy Scouts.

I learned to look ahead and raise my walking stick to ward off whipping branches, but nz has dense bush so maybe it's inevitable. ;)
good video lilly and good team work
Well done and congratulations . . . you both survived! The Part 2 ended somewhat abruptly--just up and out. I expected the two of you to compare experiences considering your separate approaches. Did your companion sleep like a baby or was he up shivering?
You had me laughing when you kept sticking your tongue to the metal like a little kid :) Great videos and beautiful country!
Nice, hope the shelter is officially "broken in" now!
This video is AWESOME!
After not seeing any snow in your previous videos so far this winter, including when you built the shelter, all of a sudden you have had about a meters worth.
I wish I saw how you did the floor in the shelter. It looks great I'm just missing parts
