Freeway Ricky & Vlad Debate Why Rich People Continue to Make Money (Part 12)

Ойын-сауық

Part 13: • Freeway Ricky on Touch...
Part 11: • Freeway Ricky: Watchin...
Part 1: • Freeway Ricky on the R...
--------
In this clip, Freeway Ricky spoke about the pursuit of wealth and his goal to help others once he attains it. Freeway Ricky questioned what people with billions of dollars are doing for the betterment of society, specifically Jeff Bezos. For Freeway Ricky, the central question was why are humans driven by material attainment and what does that actually say about one's legacy.

People give weak, socially acceptable advice and keep the real techniques to themselves. This comes from diffrent reasons like fear, greed, shame or just ignorance. I realized when it comes to the techniques/wisdom of life you gotta TAKE them cuz they woln't be given. Your way makes sense in a perfect world. But its far from perfect out here.

Seriously just study what rich people did, it's all out there. Then you can pass that wealth on to your family and build generational wealth where your kids have even more potential then you.

    @coke I-ena that's an Ideological Myth mostly from the Right side of the Political spectrum. usually coming from people who are Upper-Class or just have been able to not struggle so much because of having more Financial Stability in their lives. but the people from the Lower-Classes who can only live Check to Check are just surviving to pay what they Need Now and the little they do have left is just to be able to buy some 'normalcy' in their lives. the phrase "living beyond your means" is mostly a Fallacy because it implies that someone is living an Upper-Class, Wealthy lifestyle when all they're basically doing is trying to keep up with conventional living standards. like having a Phone or buying decent Clothes or enjoying a Restaurant etc. etc.. the bottom line either way, they are still in this Lower, Working Class part of Society no matter if they save anything or not. because the Real issue here is not that people are not saving enough Money. the real problem is that they honestly really Can't even if they tried because of how Low their Wages are to begin with in the first place. and also coupled with how more Precarious, Insecure Life is when you are just trying to Survive in these Lower rungs of the Socioeconomic System.

    @coke I-ena yes people can 'live within their means' and save Money etc. I'm not saying that people can't do those things. what I'm trying to say here is that for the people who are at the bottom of the Socioeconomic Class. these things are not as effective or even often times possible compared to the more affluent, Upper-Class Communities doing this. because the Lower, Working Classes have less Wealth to begin with and need to use more of what they have just to meet their basic Needs. like I said before. these type of beliefs are just Politically, Morally motivated by those already in some position of Financial security. but this is one of the Flaws and Contradictions of a System like Capitalism. it doesn't allow a lot of people to make a decent living Wage so they can build security/stability in their Lives by doing some of these things like Saving more etc. and also Extremely Contradictory in that it tells Everyone to Buy, Buy, Buy, Consume, Consume while at the same time telling them that they should Save, Save and live within their means?? both of these things Can't work at the same time? so yeah that's why there is an issue here that runs much deeper than just prescribing to people that all they have to do is to Save more Money and their Lives would be a lot much better. 🤔

  • @naturallaw1733

    @naturallaw1733

    @coke I-ena No that's not what I said. I wasn't comparing the Classes like that. I understand what you're saying and that is part of what happens in a Capitalist System but that's a different situation than what I am talking about. the problem is not that people are trying to compete with each other in that way. the problem is that we have a struggling Lower-Class trying to meet their basic Needs in an Economy that doesn't provide decent, adequate Living Wages. this is the crux of the issue here. but people just think this is "normal" so they never question it by asking Why do we have an Economy that allows for people to be Exploited in this way where they have to Live paycheck to paycheck?? that's not normal to a functioning, efficient Economy. this is a Fundamental problem we must be addressing. people try and better their situations all the time by doing all those things you mentioned. but again, things will Never really get better if so much of the Economy is going to be about Low Paying, Exploitative, menial type work in the first place. this is an underlying issue with Capitalism. the whole model is Flawed from beginning to end. and if you don't understand the Root causes of these problems, you'll Never be able to fix them.

    It’s simple, really. Has nothing to do with fairness, because life isn’t fair. And it’s not just about how hard you work. It’s about the value you create.
