Freeway Ricky: Top Informants Make $5 Million a Year, Downfall of BMF

Спорт

Freeway Ricky is known for being one of the biggest drug kingpins of all time, and he shared his thoughts on Big Meech and his Black Mafia Family empire, which was busted for drug trafficking in the mid-2000s. After pointing out that Big Meech used to write to him after starting his sentence, Freeway Ricky told us that he believes that BMF's downfall came when they got too flashy.
Speaking more on the downfall of BMF, Freeway Ricky told us that despite Big Meech and crew being flashy, he added that the government is paying top dollar to informants, with the top earners making millions each year.
Check out more of what Freeway Ricky had to say in the above clip, including winning a case for being abused by police.

....I remember that big ass BMF billboard on I-285 in ATL back in the day. They definitely were going hard back then. People who weren't in ATL back then will never understand how true the stories are about BMF and their flossing... it was nothing like you've ever seen before. I've never seen dope boys show off the way they did... they really had major cake. Unfortunately it was their demise... and a valuable lesson for anyone who feels that is what you suppose to do when you getting street money... Flashy niggas get locked up!!!

BMF seem to have more of a businesses mindset then most street groups. People don't understand though the mafia in it's heyday was about a lifestyle. Italians and Irish immigrants didn't have much but they were more about structure/family and they were street guys wanting a better life however money wasn't everything they were more content with what they had so they were happy with making some extra on the side and living a normal life. Drug money and greed ended all that though but the old school were just happy to make a little here and there and be a unit and protect their community
