Freeway Ricky: I Never Intended to Make Selling Drugs My Career

Ойын-сауық

www.vladtv.com - Freeway Ricky opened up to VladTV about his life growing up in South Central L.A. While he came from a strict household the infamous dealer says he aspired to be a crip and revealed to us that he committed his first petty crime in the sixth grade. Things started to take a more involved route when Ricky began selling cocaine while also playing tennis as a teen.
He later explained that when he first started selling being an athlete kept him from using drugs. Ricky claims that he was solely focused on playing tennis as it structured his life in a way that took him out of the streets. He mainly entered the drug trade as a side hustle with the intent to make money to further his tennis plans.
Check out more of what he had to say about tennis, avoiding gang life, and getting into selling cocaine in the above clip.

This was a terrible interview. Vlad has all the access in the world to top notch guess and he botches it every time. 2:35 Rick talks about his passion for tennis which is something most of us never heard before but he gets cut off to be asked a idiotic question like this " so when you wanted to be a crop, were the crips already started? Had tookie joined up yet?" Tookie started the organization and the question is an oxy moron. Then he asks Rick about his teacher who had something to do with helping him deal drugs. Rick answers gets right to where he is about to explain how his teacher was involved and vlad changes the subject before he can hey an answer to his own question
