Yeah attention to detail on this one

Love this plane, probably the best I've flown so far. So much is clickable as well! I was flying and the sun was glinting off the mirror, clicking it changes the angle and then no more sun glint! Crazy detail! Loving it for radio navigation as well, with the adf, vors etc.

Oh I didn't even try them. I did forget to show the pilot is also clickable on the seat, good for VR seeing your body.

Thanks for the review of the T-37 Tweet! The flap that comes out in the tail pipes is called an attenuator, it is there because old jets back in the day just didn't have much power and from low to high thrust took a long time, so the attenuators allowed for higher thrust settings and lower power output. Hope that made sense.

Oh thanks for that info, yes makes sense. Great that this is all modelled into this aircraft and its still free.

Had fun with this last night, flying through mountain canyons in NZ. Interestingly you have to really watch your speed when aided by gravity, because once you reach a specific speed limit your pitch controls no longer have much of an impact. Makes it fun to fly. ALSO, one of the best sounding aircraft in the sim. In fact that is why it got the nickname TWEET. Fantastic freeware, thank you to the developers.

It is very well done dlc.

I was delighted to see this, since I flew it for 100 hours as a student back in 1971! Looks and flies as realistically as is possible in FS2020, given the limitations of the MSFS flight model and the relatively simple input devices available to the hobby. I'd have paid money for it had it been payware. Cockpit is very accurate to the way it was set up later in its' career, after they had added ILS and DME to it. Apparently the one I soloed in ended up in Turkey or some such place - too bad I don't have some bucks to try to buy it! There is one T-37 (painted up to look more like an A-37) that is flying on the airshow circuit, apparently acquired from South America. The USAF either sold them to other nations or scrapped them; they apparently did not want hundreds of them on the Warbird market!

Nice vid Brett. Thanks for the heads up. The only thing I have noticed and it doesn't seem to be very realistic, it hardly loses any speed in maneuvers. Turn it as tight as you like, pull right back on the stick and yank it around a tight turn or a loop and it still hardly loses any speed. I think it is ace though and the flight model can be tweaked.

Yeah maybe it could do with some tweaks, have you also checked your settings on the new turbulence settings Asobo added? Might make a difference

I used to fly these. It’s an awesome plane. The stick lock is so that wind doesn’t play havoc with the control surfaces when parked. If locked neither pilot can control the plane. Thanks for the excellent video!

for setting up custom views: CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+1,2,3,4 etc, then set them up on whatever button you need them on joystick (on the keyboard hit: 1,2,3,4 etc to bring them on).

Yes I did that one my live stream for this aircraft but it does not add it to the HAT switch views. Still it is an awesome aircraft that I can over look the default views

@@BrettPlays that is because you have to map the HAT to the custom views

The lock doesn't selectively lock out a stick. It's a wind lock like on other aircraft. If the right seater tried to operate the bird with the wind lock in place, it'd be a short and entertaining flight.

Yeah I gathered that after the fact. It is a good addition though by the developer to add it.

You need the Tobii eye tracker,expensive but worth it.I don't use the eye tracking,but the head tracking is great..............................

yeah maybe, I will be running 3 monitor setup soon. I have tested it but streaming it is difficult. I need the right behind the shoulder camera or even a head cam with auto leveling

Load update 1.1.1 it corrects most of the problems with the camera.

When I did a roll, my engines quit. Now I see that you had your fuel pump on when doing your roll. I didn't.

That good sim realism. The fuel boost pump was required to be on at all times, as without it a lack of positive G could cause the engines to flame out. You had to land as soon as possible if the boost pump failed, and were told to use a 360 degree overhead pattern rather than a straight-in so as to remain within the ejection envelope longer.

Any idea when this will be available for the Xbox?

I suspect that it will not make it to xbox. It is a freeware mod for pc only.

Don't press any of their advertising banners. I am not sure if you have to sign up to their website first (it's free) but you click download and it pops up for you to tick that you are not a robot then gives you the file.
