Rie Kugimiya's voice from Rizelmine is quite impressive, its a shame she didn't get more roles for singing as well cuz she's got a very cute loli voice compared to today. For some weird reason Tanaka's voice in this song in 2020 sounds even more clear and young compared with her other songs like in Hyperdimension.

何がすごいかって、15年経っても当時の声量が殆ど衰えてないのがすごいですわ！

I'm so glad that the Legacy Collection kept the change from the DS Collection where the vocal version was reinserted into the English version of Zero 4's credits. It just doesn't feel right to end Zero 4 without hearing Freesia.

Well, I prefer Zero in MMZ series because of this. And you can see Zero's serious behaviour starting from MMX 5 (After Iris died in MMX 4) although you still can see him smile once a while.

I can imagine him pushing X to come out of his shell or getting caught up in prank wars with Axl. After the whole Iris thing he probably became a lot more reserved but Ciel and Alouette would still know how to get him to smile again. Of course they might also brick his brain from cuteness overload.

@@LemonRush7777 Although Ciel reassured him that even if he's a copy, he's still THE Zero in everyone's eyes. I actually believe Zero did smile a few times, just never show proper in a cutscene. Perhaps as he learned X was still "alive" as a Cyber Elf, or when he realized the Mother Elf isn't evil and is, in fact, capable of kindness and mercy, or when he was about to make his greatest sacrifice.

Basically Ciel in the pre-ZX/post Z4 era before discovering Weil's still alive in some cone shape malformed cores in varying sizes. By the time she sang this again, everyone (Neige and the human group of Caravans) that she met are long gone (even the kids didn't live past a healthy 100 year lifespan) except the couple Reploids (Alouette & Perroquiet & few dozen) still around working as Guardians (yes the Resistance members wanted to help Ciel's dreams be come true with their efforts big & small). No one but Ciel remembers what was Neo Arcadia like before her departure...remembering X's messages about new hope...her eventual first meeting of Zero...her first and possibly her only love of her life. Yes, even the Cyber Elves (digital beings that aren't souls of Reploids & digitized humans) stop showing every so often as she remember when she was younger, is either the scientists & researchers remembers the Elf Wars lessons & moved on to new forms of energy research or she slowly forgetting about her warm memories regarding the Elves from her old memory banks. She will want the digital beings to live their own lives on cyberspace & cyberworlds without any more disturbances. Regardless even Mother Elf hadn't been heard from again. She's wondering if she's okay, is she making new friends. is she feeling the same as her... Prairie/Alouette knows Zero & X is watching Ciel & the Guardians she considers them as family. Even if one small effort from Cyber Elves can pull her out of her funk, she knows that her loved ones would want her to return safely. I just finished replaying Megaman/Rockman Zero collection and went to listen to this. Tanaka Rie's voice hits different both now and 15 years ago.

ゼロ４以来もう１５年前だったね…… まさか再び本人が歌うなんて…！

何となく感じが違うのがあの頃からだいぶ経ったんだなと痛いほど感じさせる…

もう随分前なのにいまだに当時と同じキャラ声で歌えるの凄いわホント ガンダムSEEDのヒロインとかハヤテのごとくのメイドさんと違って結構声高く演じてるのに

明けない夜はない… 田中さんの歌声に、美しい未来が見えました。

子どもの頃難しすぎてヒーヒー言いながらクリアしたゼロシリーズ、4をクリアしたあとこの曲が流れた時「ゼロはどうなったんかな？」とどこか寂しくなったのを思い出しました。 ゼロ4のBGMがアレンジされてるのも今気づいて感動です！

久しぶりにこの歌聴きたいなあと思ったら本人のチャンネルでてきてびっくり

ゼロ4は発売当初にプレイしたなぁ…懐かしい 確か最序盤のステージでアレンジメント流れてたよね、この曲 まさかフルで、しかも本人が歌ってるのを聴けるなんて感涙ものですよもう…最高の作品をありがとう！

変わらずお美しい歌声で当時の情景を思い出すことができる。ゼロを思うシエルの心情と歌詞がマッチして本当儚くも美しい感情なんとも言葉に表し難い…名作そして名曲をありがとうございます泣

色褪せない名曲・・・しかも歌声も当時と同じかそれ以上・・・ほんとにありがとうございます・・・何度聴いても泣いてしまう・・・いい曲です

ロックマンゼロに出会えて本当に良かった…23歳になった今も大好きな作品です。

I really wish Capcom could give us a happy ending with Ciel and Zero living happily ever after... The ending of Zero was too sad, regardless Rie Tanaka nailed it as Ciel. Your voice is so sweet!!! ❤️

Honestly, the ending that we got was fitting for Zero's character. He finally did what he promised his friend, even at the cost of his life. the series couldn't have ended at a better note.

I think the only way it would be able to be done is if he was alive in secret as he was sick and tired of the fighting, and after he realized his job was done he left leaving whatever he didny have behind for ciel and the others to find, like faking his death, or an inbetween as hes critically dying he ask ciel to put himself in a bio metal but the cost to lose memory. In case his power was ever needed again.
