Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom. Everything you say it's so true , everyone needs to hear this and learn from it. I have made those mistakes so many times. Saying something very offensive to my partner in the moment of anger and regret immensely. I will learn to be extremely careful in moments of anger. Thanks again

This Shaolin masters videos are educative. He has a video about the eight fold path. About the eight fold path, I know where the Buddha taught this. Many of the ancient sangarams are today villages. There is one unique village name which is NAWADA meaning eight promises. These villages are common in Bihar. Eight promises can be translated as the eight fold path. It seems these villages had the pleasure of the Buddha preaching to the distant ancesters of the present day villagers, ‘The eight fold path’. Infact Sariputra became an Arhat in a sangaram called NAWADA in Vaishali. Nawada means the eight promises. Or the eight fold path. It seems the Buddha preached this in these villages.

Freedom is one of my core values. During the Covid lockdowns I felt very oppressed. Mentally I really struggled with it. Then one day I heard my inner self said "Find freedom within the cage" That was all I needed. I felt so much better. The outside world or the situation hadn't changed but my mindset had. There will always be limitations in life such as your heath, physical ability, availability of money, other resources. We just have to enjoy life with what we have. And sometimes, we might realise we have way more than we ever knew we had.

Self-discipline is a behavior that conquers freedom. Outer enforced discipline surrenders freedom. Sometimes you must experience outer enforced discipline and temporarily forfeit your freedom to learn how to develop your own self discipline to control your freedom.

Beautiful. You are describing my journey with my higher education. I sacrificed - I had to wake at 4am to work & attend school- it was a challenge. Now, I reap the benefits of that dedication & I enjoy waking at 4 am without an alarm- because now it's my time to just be with myself- such peace from a busy life. I so enjoy your teachings - such a brilliant mind you have and sacrifices you have made to be at peace. Thank u for being a presence on the internet even though you have no responsibility to give of yourself. Many thanks from Oregon.

I have subscribed because your videos are very educative. I do research on how Buddhism disappeared in Bihar. I realized it never disappeared from Bihar. Buddhists simply failed to research Indian Buddhism. They looked at Buddhism through the sphere of their own cultures searching for only the Buddha. Buddha had a myriad of names in different villages according to his teachings there. Example. His favorite teaching was 'Lust and desire causes pain. Remove lust and desire, and pain is removed'. Translated into Bihari (where the Buddha story took place) it is DHUKH HARAN meaning to remove dukha. Three dozen villages pray to DUKH HARAN Baba. Its clear that DUKH HARAN Baba is none other than the Buddha. Problem is Buddhists are searching only for the Buddha. In the real Vaishali the Buddha begged for alms. The locals there pray to 'BHIKHAINI' Baba (Beggar Baba). Bhikhaini was mispronounced by Buddhists as Bhikshu. Who is BHIKHAINI Baba. The Buddha no doubt. But people are searching for a man called Buddha. In the real Vaishali, in Beluha the Buddha suffered a sickness and felt he had grown old. The locals pray to 'BURHA' Baba (Old Baba). Who is BURHA Baba. The Buddha no doubt. In the real Vaishali the Lichavies pressurized Buddha not to die. They trailed him to Bandagawan pressurizing him not to die. To put pressure in Hindi is DABESHWAR. Three dozen villages around the stupa where Buddha gave the Lichavies his patra, the villagers pray to Baba 'DABESHWAR NATH' meaning the man who won the pressurizing game. It was the the Buddha no doubt as he gave the Lichavies his patra and succeded in sending them back. But Buddhists are searching for the Buddha. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. I just wanted to impart this information to you.

I have freedom. True freedom. Granted i did nothing to earn it was a gift. Buddhist create all these structures to control the mind, i simply let my mind do whatever it wants. At first it was bad, but my mind didn't like this so it changed. Now i dont not need structures and regiment to achieve my goals it simply flows. It might to me 5 years to achieve what other have done in 1 year but i have it non the less and without effort, without weight.

this video helped me understand the definition of spirit the mind is what you want in the moment: food, drugs, dopamine hits the spirit is what your mind wants in the long term: health, Fitness, wealth to satiate your spirit you have to reject your own mind, thinking the mind in spirit are the same, I'm tempted while fasting to eat, during no nut November to nut, etc. separating the Mind and Spirit ( faith) is necessary to achieve spiritual goals. thank you Shi Heng Yi

I really appreciate how he sheds light on a false idea. That is, in his type of lifestyle, individuals don't feel anything. The silly idea that they just float around "creating" their own reality, never getting mad or sad or even fun. It's actually about allowing yourself to feel and control these feelings. To see that if an individual beats themselves up, well then , they might let the mind win that fight. Funny enough, I actually do beat myself about driving. Too nervous, clumsy, etc...I better stop that!! ✋️ ❤

just discovered this fella--this is maybe my 2nd video--my first impressions are, I really like this guy!!! i don't know much about his traditions/monk-ness. side bar: it often works for me when videos like this on subject matter like this, are "short": 5-10mins. I think I'm more inclined to check it out, when I see it's 10mins, vs 30mins or something. don't get me wrong, I am a fan of long form videos/discussions/interviews, etc, as well. blessings to all, peace, i'm out
