So I'm not a lawyer, but you might want to look into the legality of running a paid raffle. It's generally illegal to profit from a raffle because it's considered a form of gambling. I doubt that you'd get caught, so I suppose it's up to you if you want to take the risk.

3:33 To go along with this, the "Goblin" adventures, i.e. "We Be Goblins", "We Be Heroes" and whatever the other ones are called, are AWESOME. Though most Paizo stuff is pretty damn amazing. So I can't ACTUALLY say how good all of them are as I have only read "We Be Heroes" but Paizo is damn good at their jobs so I feel like I can safely take the chance! Plus, they're FREE!!!

What's cute about Second Contact is that, back in Pathfinder 1e and pre-Starfinder 1e days, there was a similar Free RPG Day booklet titled First Contact likewise teasing some SF1 rules bits, so it's nice that they're calling back to it like that.

The royal family is House Thrune, who sold their souls and that of Cheliax to Asmodeus. The country is now deeply diabolist, idolizing the sense of order and ruthless efficiency of Hell. Interestingly, the Hellknights predate House Thrune's assension to the throne. Though they're modeled after Hell's army and its martial training and order, they're not concerned with morality, just a ruthless establishment of order. That being said, there are some good Hellknights, like Maidrayne Vox, the second in command of the Order of the Nail in Varisia. Sorry, my inner lore nerd came out

I was gonna say that. The fact the people think that the Hellknights are always evil perplex me, it's like they see the name and make assumptions. The Hellknights are not diabolists and the final test to become a Hellknight is defeat a devil in combat.

Um Akshually the hellknights predate Cheliax and have no role in its ruling (outside of occasionally acting as law enforcement, but they’re not affiliated with the government beyond a shared ideology)

I hope when they get to doing Starfinder 2e bestiaries they make them a similar size to Pathfinder ones. The Starfinder 1e Alien Archives were each so skinny in comparison, making the entirety of their galaxy less biodiverse than a single planet in it.

The great sword suffers from a damage reduction (5 I believe) unless it is improved with improved tech and designed to damage modern armor according to the Soldier download. The MG does not suffer that issue, can use auto fire to hit an area and the Soldier can inflict the “Suppressed” condition.

@@LordofGoblins12 all good. I’m a HUGE Starfinder geek and have been on top of all the playtest material from its announcement. Oh and another thing that came out of that blurb about ancient weapons against modern/advanced ones was that potency runes cannot be out on modern weapons. Further differentiating them.

I would love an April Fools thing called Pooffinder. You play as group of Leshy who's druid master have run out of Besh and you now need to go get them some for the yearly Druid meeting.

I've downloaded the PDF of each free RPG day adventure and they are all great so far, so I can't wait for this one!

A fistful of flowers and a few flowers more were my three daughters first foray into RPGs and playing as the Leshy crew was so much fun. I even have Bottlespeaker as a character I play when someone needs a Druid to drop in.

I would love to be playing any TTRPGs at this point. I'm only in one currently that takes place about or less than once a month.

Uhhhh now I might be missing something but last time I heard I read on the hellknights they were just a order of .... You know knights...its the nation of Cheliax is ran by Queen Abrogail II, the woman in charge of the Thrune family.

Looking forward to seeing how starfinder is being remade to fit with 2e. I’ve always been a sucker for sci-fi fantasy settings and this will make it so much easier to play in it.

Starfinder 2e is not coming out this year, it's only the playtest just like pf2e playtest back in 2018. It will likely have significant changes in full release.

Honestly, the best place to drop Starfinder content in a Pathfinder game is either: Time Travel shenanigans or a campaign in or near Numeria. That's my opinion, take it or leave it as you will.
