Foldable kick scooters are foldable so you can carry them once you have arrived at your destination.

They are durable even if they rattle like hell. We have two that have been thrown around, left outside in the rain and they have been ridden to hell and back they still ride pretty good. Just bought some razor brand wheels and grips to make them like new again.

I bought one at the thrift store, it was bare bones, didn’t even have those plastic pieces on it, and it didn’t fold

the stupid thing with razor is they make it so horribly designed that its wobbly as soon as you get it and it ruins the headset, they make these things so cheap and theyre over priced :P

I don’t have a weld setup where I’m at. My son doesn’t really care but I love making shit things better. Another way to tighten all that with no welding is to cut some flat rubber pieces and put those inside there, then bolt it all back up. Tightens it right up. Welding is the best thing though.

If you spend about 15$ more, you can get a razor pro. Has all these properties straight from the factory.

They're not foldable for shipping reasons. It's for packing/carrying.

Razors are designed to fold up. It has nothing to do with compactness during shipping.

ya my razor a5 lux carbon edition doesn't fold

I checked pricing yesterday at Walmart. Razor = $29, Pro = $77. You get a lot better product, but my 5 year old doesn't need it, I just want less slop.

Replacing the barings super easy makes massive improvement, reds barings are my recommendation! Amazon they about 17.50$

You can gas weld the bars if you dont have a high frequency welding machine. I cant believe how cheap these things got, The one I had when I was a kid was built like a tank. Nice milling machine, wish I had one in my garage!

Surely you can find someone with a welder that can spare a minute to throw down a couple tack welds.
