I had replaced the stock bearings on my wife's A5 and she asked if I had oiled it up since it took less effort to move the scooter. Pretty good testament there.

@@nicklion I'm not sure because I switched them out right away before i could try our the stock bearings. But others has mentioned that they greatly improved performance

Do you know how to fix an A5 Lux scooter that is having trouble turning side to side? I can't see any way to lubricate the turning mechanism (at the bottom of the handle where it turns the front wheel right or left). It has become very stiff and sometimes causes accidents since the scooter won't turn when it should.

Do you have a link on Amazon to those bearings?

Where do you go get your bearings for your scooter

My wife's 10" wheeled A6 came with floating frame and fork bearings. The rear axle didn't come with any spacers to make the floating axle work properly. Have you had any experience with this setup, or changing the frame bearings?

I own an A6 and replaced all the bearings, both on the fork and frame, as well as the wheels. Highly recommend this upgrade. Makes scooting smoother and the coasting a lot longer.

I have these stiff urethane wheels and anything other than really smooth surfaces makes my dental fills rattle

I just bought the bearings. Came 8 to a box.

My A6 seems to perform really good as is with stock bearings, idk if I Shud consider putting REDS. I might just give them to my cousin who is getting an A5 lux tomorrow

The A6 may have an upgrade from the A5. At least make your cousin buy you lunch.

I've changed the bearings on my Razor A5 Air for Bones Super Redz. The wheel with new Bones bearings was spinning almost 3 times longer than the one with original blue Razor Pro bearings, which are used on the A6 model as well. Besides that, when I've measured my maximum speed with original bearings on A5 Air with my GPS speedometer app, I've got 14.2 MPH. While with Super Reds, I've got 15.5 MPH while going against the wind.

I have the A6 with the stock bearing and spin very well. I bought @Bones Super Redz@ expecting to have super performance for the scooter of my son but only spin 8sec tested also in fidget spinner 8sec... not running better that the super cheap bearings... They are a lot of people saying and showing that the Red Bearing are amazing but a lots also say that spin for less than 8sec... GPS for speed is a great idea. Never tried that. Glad to hear you got good results.

Is it possible to add 200mm pneumatic tires to it?

Yes, but make sure the tire size you're changing to is no more than 200mm *45 mm. Otherwise, the wheel would be too wide for your average scooter front fork.

Yes, they are scooter. I bought the Red Bearing super and I was expecting the same as the video but there is not improvement at all. they spin only 8 sec.. :(

Never thought about adding a brake. I'm not sure there's enough rim available for brakes.

Yup, I just replaced it on my A6. One set of 8 is perfect since the A6 uses 8 bearings. Just a heads up that installing the bearings back onto the metal bearing slots is a pain.

@@Palindrome6137 The A6 also uses bearings on each side of the wheel fork. So 2 on each of the front and back wheel fork along with 4 bearings for each wheel.

@@Palindrome6137 I also have an A5 using the same bearings and its rolls better. I don’t suggest replacing the A6 bearings on the fork, getting that off and reinstall was a nightmare.

My front wheel makes noise when weight is applied, not the bearings

Mine just did too - loud clicking noise and it's a new scooter. It only happens when weight is applied too!

The difference between both bearings are very noticeable. I just happen to love riding kickscooters myself. Andythousand.com

I found the washer on the screw side on the outside to be useless, instead I left it out and put 2 washers on each side on the inside and now the wheel doesn't touch the fork.
