the idea behind the beat is amazing and it sounds great, but it lacks progression. like you'd expect something to change after the intro, but it doesn't. like I'd expect a part where you lose the trumpets and focus more on the bass and drums or add another melody

At least it doesn't sound like 1000 other wannabe-producers. Most of them sound like lil Baby Alchemists or Baby Derringers using boring ass loops with beat butcha sound fx and drum loops/fills from packs. This is one of the best parts of the sample, and sounds like a dope short track. If someone wanted to actually pay, then Im sure the homie could add more if requested.
