Nice. It is very useful for 15 and 17 inch laptops. On a PC... I don't know... It probably depends on the setup - no wheel or with wheel. You may run out of USBs at some point...

it works, i had to restart the game a few times and double check everything but in the end it worked... using a web cam.

I started aitrack and it broke my laptop it's stuck in a diagnosing your PC loop

Great that it also works for fs22 and beamng 😃

1. If you don't have a head-tracking device (whatever it may be phone..camera etc.), you need to get one, it elevates the game to a whole different level!!!! 2. As the owner of both a Tobii Eye Tracker and a more D.I.Y option (uses a PS3 camera), here is my advice. If you have the patience and don't mind faffing about with settings for weeks if needed (which is needed for these DIY options), I strongly suggest you opt for DIY options. These DIY methods, like the one shown by AP can literally be just as good as the high-end stuff like Tobii and TrackIR at a much lower cost!!! The high end ones take literally a day to setup and you're good to go! Nice one 😀

still too much for what it does, animaze / facerig dosnt even use that much and it tracks everything while animating your movement over to a 3d character. there is probably something else running in the background when installing this software

@@AP_101 I have tried it now works very well but I got a problem when i start the game the camera doesn't move. I have followed all the steps you mentioned. But it was not working. So I go to the config file of the game in documents folder and changed the uset g_trackir to 1. Then it worked.

Hi! thanks for this tutorial! I just have one problem using AITRACK it keeps on crashing when I selected the camera (driodcamx) and clicking start. I tried these following settings already; 1. 1080p 16:9 (Driodcam) + your AITrack settings = Forceclose AITrack 2. 720p 16:9 (Driodcam) + your AITrack settings = Forceclose AITrack 3. 720p 4:3 (Driodcam) + your AITrack settings = Forceclose AITrack 4. 1080p 16:9 (Driodcam) + your AITrack settings 30FPS = Forceclose AITrack 5. 720p 16:9 (Driodcam) + your AITrack settings 30FPS = Forceclose AITrack 6. 720p 4:3 (Driodcam) + your AITrack settings 30FPS = Forceclose AITrack I have downloaded the files from your link. Hey , i have some problems , droidcam and aitrack is working fine , but, when i open open track the squid face is not moving and i have no video . And in the game is not working , and i tried enabling the track ir in the game and no luck. Any fix for that?

Please help! AITrack works fine... but OpenTrack shows 0 in raw tracker data and game data. Within the game (American Truck Simulator) the camera does not move. I have done everything but the problem persists. I'm using DroidCam to get the image and AITrack takes it correctly, but it seems the problem is in some OpenTrack configuration. On the other hand, my Firewall is controlled by the antivirus and I have disabled it for the occasion... and it doesn't work either.

Hey, just a question, do you know how to fix roll axis in opentrack? It isnt working

I'm a newbie at this, trying to get it working with ats. But I can only get one to work at a time. Whichever one I start first, the other just gives me a black screen when I start it.

Hello ! In Ai Track I can t find droid cam . What can I do ? When I oper AiTrack it sais I have 3 camera: 0 is my webcam 2 is a black image with some random colors and when i chooose 1 the program just closes. What can I do? also when I the droidcam isn t conected i have the same 3 camera

is it possible to use the phone gyroscope instead of the camera for that?

Tried it and it works but am having to buy another webcam as the one I have is made for a telescope and has no focus to it

hey! thx for the vide and i like it but sadly opentrack isnt tracking for me, im using he phone usb method but without connecting it to the wlan at the moment(the phone). droidcam and aitracker are working with a high latency but they work. But sadly opentrack isnt moving the octopus at all. theres no movment otr input recognised I guess. what can I do, that aitrack connects with opentrack?? greetings from germany

One question my pc is connected to wifi with lan cable and my phone is connected wirless to wifi can i use head tracker and eye tracker ?

I make all like that and whrn i start the game then picture flickrring,when i turn off eye tracking then works game fine.Any answer guys?tnx

Works well most of the time But it seems to have a memory leak over time. This is a known issue and the devs are working on it.

AP, this is an excellent walkthrough and it looks like it works well. As a head and eye tracker app developer I am interested to know what made you choose this method over the other free solutions that require no other hardware either. The iPhone head tracking app my team and I created along with a few other solid head tracking competitors in the app store appear to be easier and just as good if not better quality. Regardless, this is a great and helpful onboarding video you made. Thanks for sharing it.

tried everything possible and i can't get this to work what so ever. so bought myself the Meta Quest 3 VR headset instead, i cba faffing around with running multiple programs just to have head tracking, plus playing ETS2 in VR is 1000000% better imo

I don't think it works anymore, I did everything you said I even re watched the vid to make sure and it's just not working in the game

Today I tried DAF XG for first time. 21 tons of motor oil, Helsinki → Pori.

the camera is set up and everything is working except in the game when i press start tracking nothing happends

Does not work if you are using the same camera to stream with in OBS or SLOBS, you have to disable the camera in SLOBS or OBS.

What Settings to be done in ets 2 for head tracking????

Open track doesn't work with steam VR anymore , can't find serial device.

AITrack work perfect but Opentrack don't, I tried all but still don't work

For me it does everything what it shouldnt do. Like looking in every direction, even though im looking straight on my screen

Are you staying in a bright place? Did you insert your accurate distance between your head and the camera in AITrack?

Is there something to connect this to PS4, cause then I can do it on f1 2021
