Free Films Every Filmmaker NEEDS TO WATCH
Фильм және анимация
It's hard to find films to watch, sometimes theres too much on offer, but more often than not, it's difficult to find something that you can properly learn something from, that's also free...
Which is why in this video, I've compiled a diverse selection of free films from various genres, styles, and time periods that showcase different techniques and storytelling approaches. Giving a brief description of each film, highlighting why it's essential for filmmakers to watch and what makes it unique.
As always if you have a recommendation for an analysis, let me know below!

@@AngusDaviesDP I just finished, "It's Impossible to Stay Awake by Watching This Movie". Oh wait....that's not the title. Seven more to go. P.S. Don't get me wrong. I know it was quite a task for Richard Linklater to do everything himself for "It's Impossible...". I can relate, as I shot my first feature film where I was the camera man and the sound man for a majority of the shoot.

@@AngusDaviesDP "Paradox Bullets" was fantastic. Very original. Very engaging. Werner Herzog was a genius choice.

"An Andalusian Dog" was fantastic. I've always liked Luis Buñuel's films and Salvador Dalí's art. Seeing this surrealistic imagery was inspirational to say the least. Great find.
Really impressive list! What I've already seen I've loved and I just added some stuff I'd never even heard of to my watchlist. Thanks!
I like to add two more films: - Metropolis - Come and see
