Hello Dr Jackson . I enrolled into the Hillsdale online courses a long time ago but only recently have I had the time to get serious about completing any of it . I truly enjoy your teaching on genesis which I’ve completed and Ive already started the course on King Saul . I wanted to get a copy of the book that you were reading from within the Genesis online course, if possible. Could you send me the title so I could order a copy ? I so hope that you will consider offering many more courses on ALL of the books of the Bible . You help to bring the scriptures alive. Thank you !

Adam had time to study the creatures and give them names ,I think that’s why Eve was deceived there is no scriptures that indicate she studied the creatures like Adam did . The goal was to get to Adam . In the New Testament Adam is blamed for man’s sinfulness not Adam and Eve.

Why wouldn't you just read Revelation 12 and/or 20 where it says satan is 'that old serpent' and from that, take Genesis 3:14-15 as meaning he would from that point forward (for the most part) only be able to tempt and deceive people invisibly? you don't usually see a snake on the ground, right? And if all you ate was dust you would eventually die, right? So then the 'dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life' part most likely is a repetition of the death sentence satan had already received because of his rebellion in the first world age (see Ezekiel 28) with the part about Jesus crushing his head in Genesis 3:15 also being a repetition of his death sentence that will ultimately be carried out in Revelation 20 which, again, is one of the chapters where you can document 'that old serpent' is the angelic being known as satan (who is the antichrist that will appear in Jerusalem at the 6th seal, the 6th trumpet and the 6th vial) and not a literal animal.

Hi, Nuh. In the same way that Adam and Eve almost certainly talked more than the sparse, textual dialogue suggests, one has to imagine there were other interactions in the Garden that were not recorded. Thanks for asking!

@@HowDoYouReadIt When reading the text it states plainly that God brought the Animals to Adam to see what he would "Call Them" (proclaim a word to identify each creature) and then whatever Adam "Called Them" that was their "Shem" or "Name". Prior to this work, God has already stated His purpose of Making a Helper for the Adam. The progression from God saying I will make a helper for the Adam, let's name all the animals, after which I will conclude my earlier declaration of making a helper for Adam, here is his helper ---> to ---> Adam rejects the serpent as his helper, the serpent is Jealous, sets forth a plan to deceive Adam, remove Eve, and be triumphant in either being Adams companion or the new king of Eden. There is no biblical reference to this, it is a made up myth by human minds as they put the current human experience of life retroactively on Biblically narrative. What we do know from later verses, the serpent was influenced by the Satan (Accuser of the Brethren) who is in rebellion against God. The satan whose purpose is to steal, kill, and destroy anything of God's creation that it can. The name Serpent or nahas means hiss or whisperer, from enchanter -->> diviner, a root of this word means brassy or bronze, leading to an attractive appearance. This creature is shrewd, sensible, prudent, cunning, by its nature it opposes God in the sense of performing its own divination (its own divine attainment of knowledge). As such it is testing the Human's now to see if indeed they will stay in the will of God or Rebel. The knowledge of Good (Tobe - pleasant blessings bountiful wealth from God) or of Evil (Ra - affliction and adversity, hurt and misery, displeasure, that which is in rebellion against Tobe). The result is Adam choosing to rebel against His creator (source) and rely on himself as his source. He now has obtained the knowledge of wealth, prosperity and happiness, along with the knowledge of affliction and adversity rejecting God to provide him with Tobe, and seeking to provide himself with Tobe, and knowing the Ra that comes with failing to provide it to himself. The serpent is the tester of this new creature (Adam) not for him to fail, but for him (if he had passed) to excel and show he is ready for the assignment God has set for him, but instead he fails and then in his failure blames his creator. As with many narratives in the Bible people tend to focus on and blame anything and everything other than themselves. It is not Gods fault, it is not the serpents fault, it is not Eve's fault, it is Adams, he disobeyed and made his choice. Abdicating his position and failing his test. Adam was provided with all of the necessary skills to pass. He did not. Creating additional narratives in an attempt to mitigate what Adam did and distribute blame is a false narrative. The jealous serpent, spurned and scorned, taken advantage of by the fallen angel of light, who in his anger and sadness chose to deceive the weaker human to exact revenge on the one who rejected his companionship, leading to the fall of Gods representative is a deliberate attempt to obfuscate Adams failure, failure of his responsibility, failure of his repentance, failure of his leadership, failure of his service, failure to honor, worship, and glorify his creator.

Sir, you’re adding or reading into the text, concepts that aren’t in the text. They snake wasn’t rejected because it was never considered a possible partner for Adam, nor did seek revenge. That’s twisting the text to fit your interpretation.

Look at the counter rotating vortices following the 2013 footage of the Chelyabinsk Event and compare it to the Chinese New Year Dragons chasing a bright pearl accompanied with fireworks, that is the Dragon - comet, bolide, superbolide.

At 1:40ish, did I understand you to say that Satan rules over hell? In scripture, Satan is called the god of this world, but nowhere is he given dominion over hell. Hell was created for the devil and his angels, not as a kingdom, but as a prison, so, if I heard you correctly, I'm not sure where you're getting that from.

Serpents and dragons are literary motifs in many ancient cultures for the creatures that are "gateways" into the underworld. They represent chaos, death, and the grave. Even the verb form of the word for serpent in Hebrew (nachash) is the Hebrew word for witchcraft/ those who practice speaking to the dead.

The serpent is our Ego , the serpent is each human being incarnated a small representation of the Demiurge Yaweh the Satan and the Ego and the Serpent battle for immortality or for us reincarnation , the trees are the sex organs , the fruit is the children (good or evil) .. Revelation 1:15 the revelation of this fallen or evil God the King of the Seraphim half bronze and burning in a furnace ( Hell) ..the Bible is trying to reincarnate you (resurrection is the lie) and the best proof is the shroud of Turin , the reincarnation of Jesus/Judas Iscariot ! The serpent eats dust ( our carnality) but cannot eat our souls our reincarnation process !
