They really do multiply! Maybe missing socks turn into fat quarters somehow?
Thank you thank you thank you for sharing this quilt tutorial!! I missed the original posting, but you were standing in front of it during your QAYG video and my jaw dropped! As much as I enjoyed the QAYG video, I really was curious about this one. I have a few ideas in mind for creating this quilt....will let you know how it goes. ❣

Thank you so much Kris! I really love how it came together. The math took me awhile to figure out the best sizes but I am so happy with it!
Thank you for sharing this pattern! I loved the brightly colored one so much! It was like the bit of spring I want right now. I might make one quilt as you go. I need a quilt to practice fmq fillers and backgrounds on & this one looks like it would be fun to do with all the sections of different widths on a large block. Thanks again! Have a great week!

Oh I love that idea! I need to practice my FMQ as well and you are so right this is the perfect pattern for it! ❤
I love all these ideas😅. Check out Marshall's in Batesville, AR. They manufacture the material there and sell to public and wholesale and ship anywhere. Very reasonable cloth and large selection. They also make a non- repeating pattern 108 inch for backings with the coordinating 45 inch bolt. Love that place

So Creative! I oove the simplicity of the quilt, but it looks so amazing. Great video.
This is so simple and striking! You could also cut the block perpendicular to the lines, flip once piece, and sew it back together so the pattern is split and offfset. You’d have to square the block again but it would look really cool. Thanks for sharing this with us. 😀

Hi! First time viewer, so glad I found you. I'm going to be making quilts for Project Linus and this pattern is perfect!
I’ve heard you should sew from different ends when sewing strips because they will get wonky. Have you run into that? I don’t really understand the logic in it but always wonderedvery cool pattern!
@sewbeitquilts
Жыл бұрын
I have heard the same! But when I tried doing that it really turned out wonky for me. I stick to sewing on the same side. Thank you for watching! ❤
What if you cut them in half and twisted and tuned them. I think I might try that
@sewbeitquilts

That sounds like a great idea! I think it would turn out beautiful!
This may be a dumb question but what do you mean by starch? Do you just iron with spray starch?
@sewbeitquilts
Жыл бұрын
Not a dumb question at all. I just spray my fabric with a spray starch then iron.
Which one do you recommend doing
Sorry for the book below! I will delete soon 😊

You do not need to delete. I will try to look at the pattern again today to see if I can better help you with it. I don’t remember the exact details anymore. Hopefully by leaving the comment up others who work with flying geese may have some suggestions I haven’t thought of.
Hi Fallon, is that a tatoo on your finger and if so, why?
@sewbeitquilts
Жыл бұрын
Its just a fake temporary tattoo. When me and my husband got engaged tattoos on the ring finger were really popular. I really wanted one, but was too chicken. I randomly brought it back up and my husband found this fake one that was exactly what I wanted... an infinity symbol. So he got it so I could see if it were something I would actually want to commit to.
Do you offer a pdf of the pattern?
