    Dizzy and Freddie are always my fave trumpeters, but this is Woody’s *show. He’s clearly got a message and knows how to deliver it. Just amazing!

    Im pretty sure after this is concert Diz went and told Miles about this bad ass kid named Kenny Garrett who Miles then brought to his band. Miles called Kenny and said sumn about I heard you sound like Sonny Stitt dirty drawers.. rest is history.

    AAND Kenny was was about to or just joined Miles Davis electric band around this time until Miles past is September of 1991 so he would have played with FOUR OF THE MOST IMPORTANT AND IFLUENTIAL TRUMPETERS IN JAZZ HISTORY! ...let that sink it

    Kenny garrett did play with miles for a number of years so its safe to say he did play with four Pantheon jazz great trumpeters
