    @@bpbrestorations2093 hey I’m curious as much as all the other viewers. What city and state are you in and do you charge by the hour or by the job. I think the majority of your viewers on these specific videos are people trying to do the same thing. Add myself to that group. I got a 64 through “puddins fab shop” on you tube. He referred me to D&H classics in Oklahoma. This 64 is my second build. I did a 66 about ten years ago.

    Doing a 64 floor just like this currently. scared fitting the new floor up with the quarters on is going to be really tight.

    I might have missed it because I just jumped into this vid. Is that 6 by 6 also there to support the body or just to lift? I’m getting ready to replace the full trunk floor on a 65 and I’m not sure if it has to have support or not

    @@bpbrestorations2093 okay thanks bro. I already have 80% of the cab follow cut out but I decided to start from the trunk since I have a complete floor pan. Got a little paranoid though because I don’t want to lose its structure.

    What size wire did you use for welding the trunk? Also can a flux welder work? Thanks in advance

  • @bpbrestorations2093

    @bpbrestorations2093

    .035 will be good for size, and I don't see why a flux core wouldn't work as long as it's done correctly and there is good penetration.

    We also do collision, motorcycles, and others stuff besides frame off restos. That's where I make my money. I honestly dont make hardly anything on frame offs, but it is what is bringing in the continuous customers because there are so few shops that deal in rust or Restoration repair in my area.
