I think the majority of your viewers on these specific videos are people trying to do the same thing. Add myself to that group. I got a 64 through “puddins fab shop” on you tube. He referred me to D&H classics in Oklahoma. This 64 is my second build. I did a 66 about ten years ago.

We are located in Tipton, Indiana. We charge by the job and barely enough to keep the lights on lmao.

Thanks bro, it seems to be growing pretty well cant complain. And ultimately that's my goal is to have a team of guys that I know and trust to take us to the top. I'm just gonna keep grinding and working 16-20 hours a day until it happens!

Doing a 64 floor just like this currently. scared fitting the new floor up with the quarters on is going to be really tight.

I might have missed it because I just jumped into this vid. Is that 6 by 6 also there to support the body or just to lift? I’m getting ready to replace the full trunk floor on a 65 and I’m not sure if it has to have support or not

Just to lift, but you may need support for sure if your body is soft and rotted

@@bpbrestorations2093 okay thanks bro. I already have 80% of the cab follow cut out but I decided to start from the trunk since I have a complete floor pan. Got a little paranoid though because I don’t want to lose its structure.

great job, question. with the car tilted on its side how tall is it ? Starting a 62 project soon and want to see how much clearance i need in my garage.

What size wire did you use for welding the trunk? Also can a flux welder work? Thanks in advance

.035 will be good for size, and I don't see why a flux core wouldn't work as long as it's done correctly and there is good penetration.
i would like you to do this to my 64. i have it taken apart and ready to take the body off and powder coat the frame and put a trunk pan in. can you get ahold of me

The whole build was just a little over 30k. Trunk floor and drop offs roughly 3k.

How do you make any money if the car takes a year restore?

We also do collision, motorcycles, and others stuff besides frame off restos. That's where I make my money. I honestly dont make hardly anything on frame offs, but it is what is bringing in the continuous customers because there are so few shops that deal in rust or Restoration repair in my area.
