    he's so amazing... he could play for hours and hours... i'd never get bored! he can also play with only hi-hat, bassdrum and snare.. absolutely amazing drummer, like johnny rabb

    Remember that he is playing a very tiny set, it's the Sonor Jungle Set with a 16" Bassdrum (he probably didn't have time to tune it), and it is just recorded with a basic video camera from top, so don't expect to hear the low frequencies ;-) I think this jam was also rather spontaneuos, just to demonstrate some new products of Sabian. Indeed there is no comparison to a live performance!

    its an elsabor picante hand crash its made for percussionists to use with the hands. Jojo found it useful for his style of playing. its really bright and has a really fast attack and decay. its a great cymbal.

    @norjansonjoe YanusDV is right. This video was recorded before the OMNI cymbal was created. Jojo based the new OMNI cymbal line off the Sabian AAX El Sabor Picante Hand Crash. Which is what he used in this video.

    @IPstixrawesume He's hitting the outside of the snare towards the rim. There's less snare because of the tension of the drum head there. It's closer to a tom type sound.

    I love how he pushes those blasts with his left hand 6:14. Though it doesn't have the power, it does have the insane pulsing rhythm to it. That's a rhythmatist ladies and gentlemen!
