my guy is perfection.

His ability to write about such dark and depressing subject matter and make it so upbeat is amazing.

I'm a 48 yr old grown ass man and this fucking song gets me everytime. Frank Turner is brilliant.

@@Murderofon3 The more famous they get, the more the shows cost to attend. The venues get bigger, you start having to either pay out the ass or be in a huge struggle to even be able to make out their faces. Rise Against used to play in smaller venues in Portland. Not the smallest, but still small enough to be able to get to the front if you tried... then they started playing stadiums with triple ticket prices just to sit in a seat in the nosebleeds. Everyone should hope that their favorite artists don't blow up that much.

Listening to this-and Frank Turner in general, really-makes me feel more normal for always having to push away the pessimist in me. Also, the beginning of this song is magic.

No matter how I'm feeling, Frank has the perfect song for it. If my ex sang me this, I wouldn't be able to stay mad at her another second. That's the magic of Frank Turner.. :p

I just... I love everything about it. The lyrics, the harmonies over the chorus, the way the instruments come in and lay down the dynamics of the chorus, the piano soaked ballad section and its contrast with the next portion of electric guitar and drums that leave you with a mild lift, yet an awareness that your seemingly unchangeable fate has been dealt by your own hand. He's a good musician. I don't know if it's folk or punk or emo or British pop.. And the thing is I don't care. Sometimes a good song is just a good song, an artist is an artist. Labels seem to get in the way of the symbolic message embedded in music, the granting of passage and viewing of another humans soul. I could get used to this singer real quick.

this is exactly how i feel about him. my parents have been playing him ever since i was little- we even saw him in concert and he’s just incredible.

Saw him play in Liverpool a few nights ago. I was so happy that he played this song live that I actually cried. This song means so much to me.

This bloke is truly awesome. Tape Deck has got me through the last 12 months of the worst part of my life. Thnx Frank¡¡¡¡

Absolutely great song!

Discovered this guy on a voucher for an online music store in the alt. section and fucking love it when serendipity is so damn lucky. Sad that I can't remember the site, but WOOH FRANK TURNER.

He is the best music writer ever

The pain in his voice as he sings it is what makes it so powerful.

I can't imagine anyone not liking this album. To each their own and all, but I can't stand the fact that the second an amazing artist gets the smallest amount of recognition they deserve they're no longer good enough! Just because he's not your wonderful little secret anymore doesn't make him any less amazing! The album is a bit different, but still damn sure better than anything you'll find on the top 40! Appreciate it for what it is!

This guy makes yelling-no SCREAMING-at your angst, depression, pain, anxiety, madness, whatever is happening in your head...Frank makes screaming at it perfectly fine and normal. It's therapeutic! SCREAM AT YOUR ANXIETY! SCREAM AT YOUR ANGER! SCREAM AT WHATEVER IS HAUNTING YOU!!! JUST FUCKING SCREAM!!!! We all get different messages from the lyrics, but the main core I've seen in the comments is that we are not alone in our madness, anxiety, depression, confusion, angst...YOU are not alone. I'm 52 and have been battling with internal shit most of my life; I recently realized when I saw Frank co-headline with The Interrupters that I am not alone. SO MANY people were singing back at him at the top of their lungs and you could just feel how each and every one of us had the exact same connection, the same feeling of release and recognition. I LOVE Frank Turner for that.

From what I've heard so far, this album sounds like it's going to be a winner. Can't wait!

I agree. His new stuff has the same kind of desperate energy as all of his older albums. He's getting better, as a musician and a song writer. When I look back at 'Sleep is for the Week' I see how far he's come.

Frank Turner...........rocks, man the words have some meaning to me, music is what you make it so said 'the walrus' in any event i could do with 'One Fine Day'!

Can't stop listening to this song. Every time he releases a song from this album, I listen to it too much. It's a disease, probably.
