I met Frank Turner once many years ago now and had a conversation with the man. He struck me as a genuine and sincere person. He seems to put a lot of himself in his songs. With the new album releasing soon I'm sure that there will be plenty of people screaming to bring back the old Frank. I for one enjoy where his music is headed. For him to be making the same music he was ten years ago would show a lack of growth as a person, and he has never been shy about pointing out that he is not the same person in the same place and that it will have and effect on his music. Keep up the good work sir. I am looking forward to the new album. Also super pissed I missed you and Jason Isbell when you were in my area.

I always found this song to be a happy, upbeat, warm and wonderful song that fought against the darkness. Today I can't help but feel slightly sad listening to it. It's more applicable than ever right now.

Lost my wonderful dad this week... this song reminds me of the wonderful lessons he taught and the importance of caring for all who support us and who we cross paths with in this life.

Saw Frank for the first time live last night opening for the Dropkick Murphys show in Thessaloniki,Greece. Great guy with an amazing and strong voice! the crowd was his from the first song to the last! thanks for the awesome opening Frank and i hope to see you perform again soon!

It wasn’t at all what I expected, I forgot that this is frank turner, I won’t always get those fast paced rocking songs, and that is AWESOME. Seeing him tackle different sounds, makes me remember how I fell in love with the mans music in the first place!

This really is a great song and it breaks my heart that Frank isn't more well known. He deserves it so much more than people like Justin Bieber and other pop singers who don't care that much for the actual singing and are in it more for the fame.

I know there’s one very distinct difference, but who thinks that Frank is the Elliott Smith of this generation?? Like in terms of how underrated his music is, and the quality of both songwriters, they’re both gems. Frank deserves to be 100x more popular, and doesn’t get anywhere near the amount of credit he deserves, yet songs like Gucci Gang and Despacito will keep songs like this out of the charts..

This song is nothing less than absolutely stunning, Frank. I initially wasn't sure what I thought of this new sound, but listening to Be More Kind tonight, I have goosebumps all over.

This is so beautiful. Frank Turner's music has always been shakingly poetic... When he released 1933 I thought it was his best ever. But this song up and beyond speaks volumes more than any... Absolutely tremendously beautiful works... I love it!

I was at the Philly Show the next night, the night of the inauguration and it was amazing. So much emotion but he filled me with hope as well. He's an amazing performer. I can't wait to see him in June!

Heard this on Radio 6 the other day, safe to say it’s a new favourite!

I discovered this song just now watching one of his concerts but I couldn't make out the lyrics well, now I see how beautiful and touching it is.
